What a pretty coffee shop with plenty of comfortable seating and simple, easy to read options for coffee and gelato. Came here close to around noon on a Sunday when the place was empty. The barista seemed friendly and just the right demeanor for a coffee shop.
Capuccino is just right in taste but lacked in design. This is not a deal breaker but just one of those cutesy things that I enjoy in a capuccino that sets one apart from the other coffee shops. Little snacks like cookies and muffins are also available to go with your coffee.
Street parking only in this booming downtown area of Rahway not too far from the train station.

A hidden gem, more people deserve to know so they can keep this place going. The staff are super nice, it doesn’t get super busy so you can do work there, it’s open late, and the gelato? 😚🤌🏽 HIGHLY RECOMMEND the affogato with the salted caramel cream gelato, you will thank me later.

We've always loved visiting Wholly Cow. We've tried almost all flavors and both their gelato and sorbet are great, especially their banana dulce de leche and pistachio flavors. Their red velvet muffins, chocolate chip cookies, and spinach bistro are also super delicious. The owners are very nice people! The place is beautiful and some Fridays they have live Jazz music.

Came in 30 mins before closing with 4 others. The lady was super sweet and welcoming and let us sample a couple flavors before ordering. The price is pretty much the average for ice cream these days, but the gelato was WAY better than ice cream you'd usually get for that price, and you can get 2 flavors per bowl no matter what size. Highly recommend the Sea Salt Caramel and Espresso combo. I'd add photos but I ate it too fast :P

It’s difficult to find a great gelato place in the Union county area in New Jersey.so, it was nice to find this place that had a variety of ice cream, gelato, and sorbets. I had the coconut gelato and it was delicious. They also had great lattes! The service was great and friendly. I will return.

First time in town, out for food and we found this place walking after dinner. Real Italian Gelato experience...
female worker was very rude and kinda micro aggressive with me and my friends treating us like children we weren’t making a disturbance we just wanted to help our friend in the bathroom and instead of asking nicely she was very condescending and rude and while we waited for our friend outside she came and looked by the door to check if we went back in they are very rude in here id you are a person of color i don’t not recommend coming here

I was passing through my hometown tonight and stopped in. Absolutely delicious and the best waffle cones....sturdy; they don't crack and fall apart. What an amazing treat tonight !!
