Mondo is a nice spot to grab a few slices or to have dinner at. Everyone inside is super friendly and food comes out hot and good.Pizza is top notch and worth a trip over here to grab a pie or 2. After being tortured in Fl for a few years it’s good to be back having good pizza again.

Literally the best pizza in town! We’ve tried a bunch of other places nearby and Mondo’s is by far the tastiest. Oh and I know pizza spots aren’t known for their salads, but the Mondo salad is a must try - they don’t skimp on the fresh mozzarella and olives. Not sure what the heck the guy who left one star was talking about - to each their own, but he’s clearly in the minority. Their staff is like family.. we love Mondos! ❤️?

Food reviews are more geographically relevant than most will let on. For example, New Jersey has some of, if not the best pizza in the country. What that means is that a solid choice elsewhere can sit mid to low middle of the pack in NJ. Mondo most definitely represents this relativism. The pizza is solidly meh, the sauce lacks the rich garlic or herb based flavors, the cheese tastes budget and the crust no real flavor to speak of. In many parts of the country this would be more than acceptable but here in Pizza's home state, it feels like a betrayal. To be clear I order and eat at least three different types of pizza before making any review as I feel as though reviewing something as sacred as this requires a deeper look. If you are looking for good pizza I'd skip by Mondo, though in fairness I don't know if the other local pizza places are any better and this might be your best option. Personally, I'd choose another type of food before eating here again. Side note the people seemed nice and I always have a hard time panning a place when the people are nice but my fidelity is to the food not the personalities.

We got calamari and grandma's pizza, but everything was really poor quality. The calamari was so rubbery that we had one ring each and threw the rest away, and the pizza was just bad (dough and cheese each in their own way). I really am shocked by how good the reviews are. As a pizza lover, I highly recommend going literally anywhere else for pizza - it can't be worse.Update after Vinnys response - I called him back and didn't get a refund, just an argument. Super shady - definitely never going back.Vinny has been making edits to his response: Despite his latest response, Vinny didn't openly offer a refund. He called me and left a voicemail to offer one, so I called back, and he just said he'll "see what he can do" after complaining that refunds are a hassle. I never got a credit back on my card or an update that I'd be getting a refund. I haven't been to one in years, but McDonald's at least will give you a refund if there's an issue.I write reviews for places that are especially bad (and mostly leave good reviews) because I also rely on them to know where not to waste my money. Vinny wants pity because he's a small business owner, but I wasted ~$50 on some food that mostly went to the garbage. I don't have sympathy if he rips people off and openly lies, and he wouldn't have to worry about one bad review if he made good food. I support small businesses if they offer a good quality product. There's plenty of good pizza places in Morris county that will continue to get my business. If you see an owner arguing with customers like this, it should be a warning to stay away.

The nicest people working behind the counter, the best tasting pizza in the area, and the best prices for single slices as well. Mondo Pizza is the best I've had in all of Morris County, I can't recommend them enough.

While the 1st dine-in experience with a margarita pizza was great and 2nd visit for a couple of vegie slices was good, the 3rd experience with a take-away has been extremely disappointing. Got a take away, a large Grandma pizza with sausage, black olives and onion. When I opened the box 15 minutes after it had come out of the oven, the pizza base was completely soggy, could not even hold the slices, all the toppings fell off. It was a complete mess. Extremely disappointed with this pizza, wasted around $35 for this...

Request thin crust Sicilian square pie. Was fantastic. Sauce was delicious, and the crust was fantastic. Will continue to go back.
