The quality and presentation of the food has gone downhill to the point where I can’t return after being a customer for 15 years. The wait staff and manager asked us how we liked our food and we were honest. They attempted to remedy the situation with an alternate dish (exchanging undercooked pizza for penne vodka), however the penne vodka had a sauce similar to the pizza that reminded me of what one would find in an inexpensive supermarket frozen dinner. Having a busy schedule, we gave up with one member of our party leaving hungry. The orange juice came in a large glass and tasted a bit like grapefruit juice. We returned it and it was taken off our tab. The management should consider high quality OJ in a much smaller glass. Apparently there is a kids menu but it was not offered to my daughter because she is 13 (too old for the kids menu). I would have been happy to pay adult prices for kids menu items. The renovated building is beautiful & the bar area is pleasant. This place has great potential once it improves its food quality. I get it, we are in hard times with increasing costs. My advice would be to charge more and offer smaller, yet higher quality food & drinks. So upset to be writing this about a restaurant that was once a family favorite.
Horrible experience.. My boyfriend and I went on a little date to the Randolph Diner. We both order meals with cheese in it. Mine being classic grilled cheese and his being the Mac n Cheese burger. A few ours later I am on the floor in a fetal position. He on the other hand is struggling with stomach issues too.. We both realize it was 100% from the cheese they served. Also don’t get me started on the staff being rude and trying to ask us to move to accommodate a bad seating arrangement they made while we were eating our food. Don’t go here if you don’t want old smelly cheese in your system. Along with hours of your life fighting on the toilet pleading God to end your suffering.

Redecorated, raised prices and quality of food has gone down in the dining area. The bar has a great happy hour though. The bar is a good place to watch games.

Remember, it is a diner and it has full service restaurant prices, way over priced for what little you get. Think again, you can eat at a nice restaurant for these prices, greed will eventually put them out of business.

The wait staff was efficient. Not very friendly or chatty. Would have been nice to have had someone who likes to work with people.

We eat here all the time and don't usually have an issue and we always come here in March for my cousin's birthday and they always put us in the back room we have excellent service but today for some reason they were so understaffed that I had to bust my own table and move the stuff to another table so that we can do gifts and cake and normally we order the cake ahead of time and they come in they sing Happy Birthday they slice it app and pass it out but this time they left it in the box handed it to me and said here's your cake I had to ask for a knife I had to ask for serving utensils I had to ask for plates And nobody came in with candles and nobody came in to help us sing Happy Birthday And nobody came in to serve it I had to do it. We also had to go to management and ask them to clean and fix the women's bathroom because it was disgusting and it was a hot mess.

Food was hot but it tasted like old oil used on fish and chips. Fish was the size of small chicken nuggets. Definitely not worth its price of $20. Mozz sticks and onions rings were good though. Usually don’t have complaints here, this would be a first for me. Service was good. Always a nice setting to dine in.

Visit here just for the vibes. It's too nice for a standard diner. The diner should be renamed Xanadu based on its looks alone.

I usually enjoy going to the Randolph Diner. However today I found a finger nail in my sandwich. Although the waitress brought it to the manager’s attention and they deducted my meal from the check, the manager did not bother to come see me or apologize. I won’t be going back to the Randolph Diner.

Big place—good for groups. Expansive menu. My chili was just ok but everyone liked their sandwiches. Good french fries. Has a bar as part of diner with a bunch of tv’s.

Lately I have avoided going to diners because the quality of food has declined from the heyday of New Jersey diners
Not at The Randolph, we went because friends lived nearby and it was convenient
Glad we went, everything was delicious. Service was great. Although I live over one hour away I can’t wait to go back to this dinner and try other offerings on the menu. This is my new favorite diner.
