Was at roses trattoria.for a first communion of my grandson.Owners are great.real italians.food delicious.great espresso.service impeccable.kids running around.never felt rushed.even after dinner when we hanged around the bar.will for sure come back..thank you Rose and Joe.

This local Italian has evolved a lot in the past 10 years. It used to be a reliable local Italian with good food and at a decent value. Several years ago they renovated the bar and added a covered patio, which I am sure was great for business. On almost any weekend night, the bar is packed and a bit loud!However, I think the food has suffered since then and the food prices have gotten more expensive. They added pizza to the menu, but on the couple of occasions i have tried it, I’ve found it to be overcooked and dry. $25 for a medium sized pizza also seems a bit expensive. My reco is to stick to the core menu items, such as pasta and chicken dishes.

Finally got to try Rosie's last weekend. The first thing is the menu was way too large which was an immediate concern. The more options, the harder to do them extremely well. Given the pricing, you expect well above average.I ordered veal Parm and my son ordered chicken piccata. Both dishes were good/above average but neither was excellent.The veal was paper thin so it was about as much breading as meat. The red sauce was bland, seemingly having little to no herbs but it has a ton of cheese in it making the color orangey instead of red. The pasta had sauce dumped on it rather than them finishing the pasta in the sauce which is very disappointing.My son's Picatta was tasty but the sauce was somewhat too liquidy like they used too little butter. The chicken was slightly overcooked but overall it tasted better than average.My son got the bread pudding for dessert and it was too dry in places. Where it was moist it was very good.In the end the initial concern was valid. They really should shrink the menu and focus on what they believe are their best dishes.

This a must stop! The food is phenomenal and the staff are so friendly! The bartenders make incredible drinks - I hughly recommend trying one of their cocktails. The business is family owned and they believe in good food done right. Reservations are a good idea as it can be busy!

Here's the problem with this place...it's hit-or-miss. When it's good it's great, but it's a coin flip on whether it'll be good or bad.For this place being on the more expensive side of things, it should be a guarantee that you're getting a GREAT meal. We're always reluctant to go here because we've had such mixed experiences.
