Tried PP for the first time after moving here last yr. Family member who is a CIA Hyde Park grad raved about it, but admittedly this was from many yrs ago. Ordered 2 pizzas for pick up, Chicken Pesto and Chicken Marsala, as well as a Caesar salad. Pizzas were on time, fresh and warm. We had a 5min ride home and pies were still warm on arrival. Sadly once the cooled a bit, they were dry and lacked flavor. We all gave up after a couple pieces each. The salad was clearly a commercialized pile of lettuce, a few croutons and some generic food service dressing. We realize chicken pies can seem drier than others but wasnt impressed at all to be honest.

We we for the first time yesterday. It was great! The food seemed very fresh, may be why it took a while. We thought the prices were very reasonable and the atmosphere was nice. The zucchini must be local because it was super fresh! We will be back to try pizza soon and will rate again. I had the broccoli rab and sausage sandwich and clam appetizers along with zucchini Parm appetizer and zucchini straws. All delicious!

The Pizza Pub is seriously top notch. I typically wouldn’t leave a review, but after the meal I had tonight, I knew I had to say something! Between their fun specials, drinks, and ABOVE AND BEYOND service, nothing could compare to this cozy street corner restaurant!

Recently had two outstanding items here:
Grandma Slice - best around
French Fries - didn’t even order these - they came with a sandwich - THE BEST fries - perfect - crispy outside, fluffy inter, perfectly seasoned.

I love this place and the food is wonderful, so when I saw a Mardi Gras menu I had to try some Louisiana staples since I’m from the south. Gumbo and fried catfish. First, gumbo had nice flavor but we never use red bell peppers in gumbo. Only the holy trinity of green peppers, celery and onion. And we only fry catfish in cornmeal. I’ll need to try some more to get a solid review on the special menu.

Great place to get a bite and a beer

Decent pizza, one of the few places open late. And they carry a standard selection of beers to go, which is a rarity in NJ.
