I used to come to this place often and order their amazing Greek food. But the last couple times it has been awful. So much that I started to order from their new location in Hackensack which the food was fresh and proteins were not dry. I ordered keftedes freek meatballs - it was so salty and dry that o was chewing on cardboard. Pork pita onde again the pork was so dry and the pita bread was stale and breaking apart. Chicken pita my wife couldn’t eat it anymore since it was so dry . They are cutting corners by pre cooking all their items and leaving them dry and hoping that we would not notice. In contrast their new location in Hackensack more of a takeout cooks pretty much all to order and you feel and taste the freshness. Couldn’t order from there cause they are closed on Sundays. Perhaps they should take a leasing from them and bring fresh food again

As a doordasher this place cares less about its customers more about the money I've come here for the past year and every time I come their order is never ready forcing the customer to have to wait the person I ordered the food and paid twice as much as they should have to have them take forever and take care of the people that are actually in their restaurants first I don't recommend this place

Food was great, really fresh. We got the hummus which was delicious, then lamb gyro with greek fries and lamb wrap with sweet potato fries. The dessert was also really good, we tried cheesecake and carrot cake.
Get the Greek nachos! So good! All of the food was fresh, homemade and delicious. Our waitress was sweet and attentive. I highly recommend Sparta Taverna. BYOB It doesn’t get much better than that!
