Stepping into Joan's Bagel and Deli is like entering a cherished family gathering, where the scent of freshly baked bread mingles with the warmth of shared memories. This cozy deli not only serves up delicious sandwiches and mouthwatering desserts but also fosters a sense of community that makes every visitor feel like part of the family. With its welcoming atmosphere and heartfelt hospitality. The only problem with the place would be the time for in which it opens.

Top notch bagels and a great husband and wife duo that own the deli. Kevin is a bagel master and takes great pride in his work, never compromising quality.Parking: There's a free parking lot directly behind the plaza the deli is in.
My favorite bagel place! After moving away I still go there if I'm up that way. Joan and Kevin are the best!

We took a morning walk today and stumbled upon Joan's Bagel and Deli Shop. We've passed here many times on our evening walks, and we can never catch it during the day because it was closed by the time we came back from work.Small and locally owned. There were a few people ahead of us and gave us a moment to see what to order. We decided on two orders of egg, cheese, and ham woth extra ketchup on a roll. My order was an egg and cheese with ketchup on a roll. All orders were fresh and felt small. However, it's a good pick me up for morning breakfast and reasonably priced.Friendly service, tables, and counter space to eat inside, minimum $10 to use credit card. If you live around the neighborhood, take a walk. There is street parking available too.

Best around ! Owners are super friendly, place is spotless, one of most reasonably priced bagel shops in the area! Never disappoints!

Horrible service, the lady has no manner, so ruuuuuuude to customers.High price, bad tastes. Their muffins and pastries are from Costco
The sesame bagel is not bad, but certainly not a great bagel. It had a nice flavor and plenty of sesames. The crust was not up to standard, missing crispiness and sheen (egg wash needed, perhaps?). Honestly, the crumb had no traditional bagel chewiness or maltiness, and was a bit airy.Edit March 23, 2023The owner seems to cast doubt on the authenticity of my review. Truthfully, however, the review does apply to Joan's Bagel & Deli.

Great bagels and even better owners. A real staple to the Ridgefield community! Come enjoy any classic or special sandwich and you won't be disappointed!

My husband has been looking for a good breakfast sandwich similar to the ones in NY & we decided to try this place because of the good reviews. So glad we did because they have the best bacon, egg, & cheese in NJ so far! My picky husband ate the whole sandwich & couldn't believe how good it was (bacon, egg, & cheese ratio was prefect & made crispy just as asked). Like other reviewers mentioned, great attention to detail. Bagel was good too! This is our new favorite spot - pease don't ever change anything!

I use to really like this place a lot up until my last visit... got a simple Taylor ham, egg and cheese on a wrap and I was totally annoyed by the size of the damn thing. When I post reviews I always forget to take a pic of what I get but this time I had plenty of time to do so as it only took me 4 bites to eat the thing. . Pathetic.. won't be going back ever again. If I were the owners I'd be embarrassed serving this to a customer
