Food is good but it's a complete rip off for the price. Don't bother ordering cheese fries because they give you a tiny little cup of cheese that's not big enough for even half your order of fries. The shack stack is good but again very overpriced. My order was as follows (Shack stack add crispy onions with cheese fries and a drink). This was over 25 dollars for one single meal. I have no problem spending money for food when I go to a nice restruant but not for something simple like a burger.

Probably the best chicken sandwich I’ve ever had. I forgot to order without pickles and it was still a delicious chicken sandwich with bacon and avocado.

Our burgers were great but they were out of everything chocolate. Obviously I was extremely disappointed as I really wanted a shake.

The Paramus Garden State Plaza location gets zero stars for me. After placing my to go order and entering this establishment, the management and staff were rude and disrespectful from the jump. After I received my order for the second time I told them it was still wrong and I told the manager she needs to be retrained, not only because of her nasty attitude and unprofessionalism, but also because she had the receipt in hand with the details of the order, so there was no reason for her to get it wrong upon doing so another staff member who claimed to be a manager started getting loud And disrespectful towards my wife and I because of what I had commented about her manager needing to be retrained at no time did her manager jump in Defuse the situation she continue to allow her to be belligerent and disrespectful so because they got the whole order wrong not once but twice and they didn’t like the fact I called them out on it. They decided to call mall security, who then had no choice, to have us removed from the restaurant and it is my belief that the security guard and this belligerent employee Personally, New the security guard do to their demeanor And friendly conversation I filed a report with mall security and will be following up with Wall management as well as Shake Shacks Corporate office These two employees Need to be fired for their actions and held accountable I’m not one to see someone lose their job, but in this case, these two individuals deserve it at no point do these two individuals belong in customer service? Especially because the one individual came storming out from the back, ripping off her rubber gloves, as if she was going to escalate the situation with violence further, totally disappointed and disgusted I will never eat at another shake shack again I will Be eating elsewhere and by the way Shake Shack corporate personnel You can review the videotape on the security cameras hopefully it has audio between 6:50 PM and 7:30 PM the truth is all on Video you’ll see that it was your employees and management that escalated the situation when it should’ve been de-escalate and the customer should’ve been taken care of properly wrong is wrong right is right

What good is a quick service place that claims it serves breakfast (at a rest area with three times as many parking spots for trucks than for cars) if it doesn't open until after 8 am? Sounds unnecessarily discriminatory if you ask me...

I was the second order of the day.
And for the extra money it cost to add cheese to my order, how come it's the crappy American cheese and not the "white cheddar" used on your egg white sandwich. If you gonna charge me for cheese, give me the best you got.

What a disgrace to shake shack & this is coming from a New Yorker (shake shack's birthplace). I came here about 2/3 hours before closing as I was traveling on I95 & all I ordered were fries. Let me tell you them fries literally tasted like garbage & that's exactly where it went. It seemed like they didn't change the oil since the store was closing in a few hours or something else as the fries tasted extremely off & it showed in the food. I'm glad I only bought fries as I would've been highly upset to waste more money on further items as well as throw away more food. This shake shack definitely does not pride on quality!

Breakfast was good. I didn't find the self order kiosk to be all that easy (trying to add coffee and another quick grab item). Ended up ordering at the desk, felt like I was interrupting a training or something. Couldn't understand the mumbles from the cashier and ended up ordering extra food by accident... But fortunately, those hash brown tots were hella good. There was no line, which was bangin'. Coffee was better than fast food coffee, but I was told they only had 16oz option then ultimately handed a 12oz cup. Not a particularly bad experience, but not a particularly special one either.
