I like Soram, so I've been going regularly for several years, but now I'm experiencing something that feels so out of place. I ordered Togo and asked my husband, who doesn't speak Korean, to pick it up. The card minimum is $20, but Bill told me to buy something else for $19.xx. When I asked my husband, who can't drink soda, what the cheapest menu item was, he said the $30 frozen dumplings were the cheapest in the store and charged it to my card before my husband could approve it. This is the first time in my life that I have been sold frozen dumplings. If there is a $20 minimum, you should let us know when ordering over the phone, or slowly guide us through other additional menu options. Or you could have paid more by adding a tip. I am very disappointed with the unkindness and attitude of the person answering the phone. I've never seen my husband get angry, but after this experience, I don't want to go to such trouble again. I thought it was a good place for business, but it turns out it wasn't (now that I see a lot of one-star reviews). I could have just left the frozen dumplings for $30, but I was so upset that I asked for a refund.

The taste of the food and customer service are really bad.
As soon as I entered, he didn't even look at me. He approached me first and asked where I should sit, and only then did he answer.
When I was about to order food, I said, ‘Ugeoji..’, but as I listened, he suddenly just ignored me and left..

I ate beef stew and gulbi at a store and submitted soybean curd.
They said there was beef in the beef soup, but when I said there was only a lot of cabbage and no beef, they brought me two separate pieces of beef. The odor from the beef was also enormous.
They didn't even tell me that the oysters came with soybean paste stew, so I only found out after the food came out. If you had told me in advance, I wouldn't have ordered it.
Since I ordered beef stew, I asked for soybean paste stew and rice to be served along with soybean curd. When I got home, I found out that the soybean curd didn't even come with rice. I even ordered a togo of soybean curd when I ordered, but I was confused because my order didn't go through until after I finished eating, so I waited after I finished eating and received it. Bean curd contains only cabbage and no kimchi or meat. Even the soybean curd tasted sour that I threw it all away after one bite.
I ordered 3 dishes, but one rice was missing. Not only was the food tasteless, but the customer service was so bad that I was in a bad mood all day. The female owner is kind to other male customers and grandmothers, but for your information, I am a woman and I go alone, so I don't know why she is fighting with me. I feel so bad that I don't think I'll ever go again.

Everything about this restaurant is really exaggerated, the service is really bad, there are only 2 side dishes, and the food tastes just average...don't go here, I don't recommend it.

A few years ago, I had a meal with friends who lived out of state, and I remember enjoying the meal thoroughly, so I came back recently.
Visited around 1:00 p.m., about half of the seats were occupied and the tables were not set. Well, this is just okay.
There was a lot of things on the menu and even ordering was good. Cold pumpkin porridge was served before the meal, and I enjoyed it because it had the right amount of stickiness, was subtly sweet, and had a subtle taste of glutinous rice. Personally, I thought it would have been better if it had been served after a meal, but that's up to the restaurant to decide, so that's fine too.

The problem starts from here, when you give pumpkin porridge, pickled cabbage and geotjeori are served as side dishes. I took a bite of cabbage, but the sour and salty taste was so strong that I frowned several times. I also took a bite of geotjeori on the side, which was just as good as the rest of the world. (I can't eat geotjeori without rice)
Also, I wish they would have wiped all the moisture from the bowl starting with the pumpkin porridge.

And then the meal came. To be honest, the meal was very ordinary. “Oh, it’s delicious” is definitely not the case. What should I say? It’s just something that people who cook at home make and serve in a hurry. In short, it didn't taste like something you would pay for when eating out. Usually, restaurants here in the U.S. provide generous portions to make up for the lack of taste, even if the taste is just so-so, but here, the prices and portions are not that much.
If what a restaurant is looking for is to provide kimchi side dishes and a neat meal, honestly, at this price, it should be much more delicious and neat.

I don't know what has changed. The last time I came here, I had a really delicious meal. I was very disappointed, perhaps because I made a mistake in choosing the menu or because the store had changed.

I wish the price had been better, no, I wish the composition had been better (no side dishes other than cabbage/beef stew at the beginning). It's a decent place to get a meal when you're hungry, but the price and atmosphere don't match the price, so my opinion is that it's a 3 or 3.5 star restaurant.

Overall review: “Good with a lot of disappointment”

Looking at other people's reviews, the dumplings seem to be delicious.

I don’t know about the other menu items, but please never order ssambap… .
They say it's for 2 people, but it's 10% meat and 90% vegetable stir-fried pork, lettuce with the upper part cut off, a handful of undersized cabbage, 3 or 4 cabbage leaves, a few peppers, green onions, carrots and cucumbers, and a side of soybean paste.
It's like this.
It didn't taste too good.
Still, the people working are friendly.

We had a lovely meal! I loved that the meal started with some Hobak-juk. It had a subtle sweet taste and smooth texture. The Banchan were a pickled white cabbage and a traditional kimchi. The pickled cabbage had a great balance of sweet and salt. To start we had the hand made dumplings which were filling and delicious! Finally, the Gamjatang had a great rich flavor and the meat was very tender. Looking forward to coming back!

The restaurant offers excellent traditional Korean dishes, including some rare finds. The flavors are subtle yet delicious, with the standout being the dumpling soup. The homemade dumplings and the soup are exceptional, savoring every last drop.

I don't usually go out with my kids, but today I went to have a meal with my kids and family for the first time in a while. When my child entered the restaurant and said “hello” to another table eating, the Korean female worker there scolded him and said, “You can’t make noise here.” It didn’t feel good. .This is a place where people pay attention if you bring children. Please note. I used to be a regular, but I don't think I'll be going anymore.

One of my favorite places to eat when I go to New Jersey to visit family. Yes, it’s in a strip mall but IYKYK. Can’t think of better mandoo. I’m also addicted to the dongchimi.

They’re lucky to have one star.
I had take out last Thursday in the amount of close to $120.
Portions were extremely small, tasted horrible.
Never again.
