Sushi by Sea was a fun 2 hour experience. This experience pulled no punches in terms of flavor. Hitting strong with a wonderful “salad” that made me realize that yellowtail and orange are heavenly combination. Each dish popping with flavor. Salmon with sprinkled white truffle being my favorite, and the list goes on and on. The staff is fun, Chef Chris is energetic, funny, but you can see how deeply he cares. He is easy going where you feel less nervous, and more excited about engaging in conversations. The host, Josh, his attention to details, and his ability to hold conversations, is amazing. He knew what you needed before you knew you needed it.
For those of you like me feeling like NYC Sushi has become truly exclusive, this is a nice call back to the more fun times. Bring an appetite cause you’ll be very full by the end, and yes, bring a good wine that pairs well with seafood, it’ll be well worth it.

17 courses of world-class sushi prepared in front of you by a true master of his craft. The fish is of the highest quality, sourced from around the world. Every single dish is executed to perfection, with just the right bits of garnish to accompany the fish. I don't know how I'll be able to eat at a regular sushi restaurant again. This is just on another level. I'm still in awe that such a place exists in my neighborhood.

Had the pleasure of dining here twice in the last couple of months and as always each experience was unique and amazing. To say this gem is as good as it gets is an understatement!! From making a reservation to arriving and dining, every detail is taken care of. The flavor profiles used are creative and imaginative and your mouth explodes with the flavors. Each ingredient melds seamlessly with the next and the dish simply melts in your mouth. Chef Chris and Jay take great care of everyone dining with them, and now Josh is a great addition to the team.
