What happened to this place???
It was filthy dirty inside and out! This kind of dirt makes me hesitant to actually spend my money here:( Speaking of money, 25 bucks for two bagel sandwiches and a small coffee is a little crazy!
I know they can do better…

Bagel sandwich PEC was very good. Thing in the case coffee cake, cinnamon roll, croissant, were terrible and stale. Had to spit out and throw away. Also there are a lot of flys.
My husband just came out with two coffees (which is great) and an everything bagel with cream cheese and said “this is the best bagel I have ever had!” We will be back!

Great fluffy chewy bagels. Had friends over for the weekend got them every morning after the first day. They were a crowd favorite. Did not skimp on the cream cheese. The egg and meat bagels were amazing as well.

Bagels were extremely delicious. Definitely made the breakfast sandwich. They had 2 eggs, a healthy portion of turkey sausage on a great bagel. If I was in the area more I would eat here a lot more often. Definitely recommend.

Pretty good bagels here, very thick bagels nice when toasted. Awesome selection of cream cheese and they are not stingy with it. I got a toasted whole wheat everything bagel with scallion cream cheese and lettuce tomatoe and onion. Very good! The woman at the counter was very friendly and quick.

Very disappointed with this restaurant. The staff was extremely rude and unprofessional, and the food was also terrible – lacking taste and freshness. Definitely not worth the time or money.

Went to the store on Monday 9/1/25 at 9:33 Am. waited for two customers ahead of me to place my take-out order of 6 bagels and three containers of cream cheese. My order was put in line with all other orders (phone, and in-person) . Sandwiches etc and I had to wait 16 minutes for them to make any and all orders for sandwiches, etc. before they filled my takeout order of 6 bagels and three containers of cream cheese.

I just really want a good gluten-free bagel, so I call both Avalon Coffees, the one in Rio Grande and Wildwood Crest, and ask them if they have any gluten-free options. The one in Wildwood Crest says no and hangs up as if they have something against me asking. I look at my wife and say, “So their coffee is not gluten-free either.” Then the snobby girl on the phone at the one in Rio Grande says, “No, we have no gluten-free options.” I ask politely if they even know what gluten-free is, like all of their coffees contain gluten. She proceeds to tell me that they are not gluten-free because they contain beans… coffee beans. And any beans in general do not contain gluten. I try to say that to her, and she hangs up on me. I did not ask to be born with celiac, nor did I ask to be treated this way when I ask about what foods I can eat.
