I had a fantastic experience during my first visit to Mike's Jersey and River Edge. The establishment was impressively clean and well-organized, and the staff were exceptionally friendly. Jarmar even prepared a special sandwich for me, which was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this place!

Jarmar Williams was amazing. He took care of us and was very hospitable. Our food was fresh, and cooked to order in a delicious way. I got the # 17 with whole wheat bread and he’s seen me a couple times so he already knew I wanted bacon lettuce tomato and pickles with salt pepper and oregano. He made it in a timely fashion and allowed me and my lady to eat without rush (they were near closing) She got the number 13 and had it mikes way and it was delicious. He deserves all the recognition and raises he can get. I live in the neighborhood and I will always come back to river edge Jersey Mikes as long as Jarmar is here!!!
Parking: It’s in a strip mall, but there’s plenty of parking

Was in the the area and the guy said he couldn't heat up the bread before assembling the sandwich. Note: the gluten free bread isn't baked fresh and needs to be heated or else it will truly not taste good. It was a super simple request yet even when I mentioned that it's been done at other Jersey Mike's locations with no issue (there is an oven in every location) he still said he couldn't do it. Please do better in training tour employee's and figure out an alternative to the gluten free bread being needed to to heated for those who can't have gluten. You are a massive chain, the gluten free sandwich should have to taste a fraction as good because the bread isn't fresh.

So I didn’t know where else to go to because it’s kept so private from us (the employees) but mine as well as other people’s experience working here has been terrible. I REALLY want corporate to open their eyes and look at how many people have QUIT in the past 2 years.
The manager who made my sandwich was a great dude super personable and helped me try something I don’t usually get 10/10

Worst place to go buy a sub.
The sandwiches are good but the people they hired think that they are doing you a favor. I went there nicely and basically they looked at me from head to toe and ignored me completely.
Maybe they have something against latinos.
I've been to Jersey Mike's many many times and to several locations as well. All the workers I've seen or met were always good/professional yet one worker has stood out for me at this particular location by his quality work, his efficiency, and how organized and very clean his shop/workstation always seems to be whenever he is on shift. With the added fact that he always got ALL my orders correct (can't say as much with others) and makes the best subs of all employees across every shop I've been to.
I assume, by his involvement, he has some kind of a supervisory/managerial role as he stays on top of things, keeps good track of what the other teammates are doing, communicates orders/tasks, and advises them like a good father would with his kids.
I had to ask the man his name: Jamar Williams.
He definitely should be considered for a supervisory/training/managerial role within Jersey Mike's multiple locations.
PS: I started reading other comments and noticed that Jamar is repeatedly praised by other customers as well. This reinforces my belief that Jamar Williams should be given an opportunity to show his full potential.
Btw, I do not gain anything from this, I simply believe that in general many people are quick to criticize, but not enough praise is given when sincere praise is earned.
Dietary restrictions: All sandwiches are available in Gluten Free !
They also have gluten free cookies.

First time at Jersey Mike’s and we were blown away. We expected an experience like Subway. Nothing like that. Everything’s sliced fresh, and the team of Kemahni & Jarmar went above and beyond to engage with us, offer their recommendations, and guide us towards sub perfection! Would def visit again based on their service alone.
