“I ordered a cake for my baby shower this past weekend, and it was absolutely perfect! Despina was wonderful to work with and executed exactly what I was looking for, fitting the theme perfectly. The cake was not only beautiful but also tasted amazing. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about it, and even one of the restaurant staff asked me where it was from because he couldn’t believe how delicious it was. The cake truly made the event extra special. I can’t recommend them enough and look forward to ordering again in the future!”

“So good . When you order takeout fried food, they wait to the last minute of your delivery time to put the food in the fryer. Don't complain if you have to wait a few extra minutes . To get hot crisp food instead of soggy cold stuff that steamed it self cold in the togo containers. LOVE THEM.”

“Nice place, a little out-of-the-way, which is perfectly fine. Lots of menu choice, food is good quality, from bread and appetizers to dessert. This is a BYO place. Service was a little uneven, but that was most likely due to the fact that there was a really large party in the dining room and they tend to be high maintenance. Worth the trip.”

“Enjoyed our dinner there on Sat evening. We were seated in the ballroom as we were there to see a band. Tables were socially distanced, room was nicely appointed, very clean! Loved my Mozzarella Caprese appetizer and my salmon dinner. Drinks were really good and the staff was super attentive and friendly. Masks were worn the right way too!! Great venue!!”

On a recent visit, a new employee made some rookie mistakes that I brought up to the owner. He addressed the situation right away and more than made up for the only negative experience I've ever had there.

Last week, I ordered ahead to make sure they wouldn't run out of the bagels I wanted, and the person working that morning greeted me with a huge smile and my order all ready to go. He seemed genuinely excited to help me, as the staff always appears to truly enjoy what they do and make customers happy.

“Used to be my favorite place and ordered river vale at least 2-3x per week but hadn't ordered for a long time until recently i had craving for their ox tail combo and Cuban sandwich. sadly no more ox tail and both puerco asado shredded pork dish and Cuban pork were so bland and dry and burnt with the pressed bread which was like a stale burnt roll with 1 or 2 pickles..thats it. was disappointed the puerco asado dish didn't even come with rice and beans as was used to be included in the past. and no phone number available to call and talk to someone. very sad because used to be one of my favorites and probably will not try again.”

“The Grandma pie at Francesca's is the best of its kind to be found locally! Reasonably priced and substantially sized, it is perfectly balanced with a light, crisp crust and aromatic garlic. We also love the Eggplant parm appetizer that eats like a meal!”

So good that weekends are packed, so make a reservation or try a weeknight. You will not be disappointed!”

“Completely surprised and intrigued with the menu. This is NOT a Mexican food restaurant as the name might fool you. The shrimp taco wrapped in seaweed paper was so fresh tasting,crunchy and absolutely delish. Fried rice served in your own skillet and you mix the egg in was the best! The smores waffle with homemade custard ice-cream was to die for. Bartender Robbie is a pro mixologist with really new style drinks. This place was a treat and I cant wait to go back. Also the service was perfect!”
