Adam's Bagels Cafe & Deli - River Vale

$7.45 for one bagel with cream cheese. For that amount of money I was at least expecting a thick smear of cream cheese, but there was not much at all, some parts of the bagel barely even had any. Absolute rip off.

Everyone should go to either or both of Adam's Bagels locations in River Vale and Norwood. Theirs are the best bagels I've ever had, and given the number of bagel shops in the area, that says a lot.

The only reason they're not five stars is because I've had several communication issues in both places. Once, my order was lost; another time, they ran out of bagels before filling my order. Twice, the person at the counter either didn't understand what I ordered or wasn't paying attention and assumed I wanted something I didn't actually want.

However, they are always friendly and more than happy and willing to fix the issue and make up for the mistakes - no questions asked. I love Adam's Bagels and hope others do, too.

Left food out of the order and didn’t do anything to make up for it when I called. Pathetic service.

Many options, organized, wonderful egg sandwich

I ordered a juice and on the menu it said $6.99. Checking out it was $9.99. That type of price increase is crazy (thanks Biden) but the fact that they haven’t changed it on the sign is dishonest and neglectful. I won’t be coming back

I visit this Adam's Bagel and others on regular basis. On Monday 8/11 I came inn at 2:20 pm and asked for a pastrami sandwich. I was told that couldn't do that because the slicer had been cleaned. I stood there for a minute dumbfounded as the store was still open and seemed like it could be cleaned again after store is closed. I left and will not return ever...there are other bagel deli stores nearby.

Good bagels but often times when I ask for the bagels to be toasted, they tend to over do it like the picture. They redo it for you if you catch it and ask. Not the first time… make sure to check before you take home..

I am from the northeast but now live in Seattle. Last week some very dear friends flew out to see me with a huge assortment of bagels from here. There are so many varieties and they are all delicious!!! Big fat bagels with a great outer texture and internal density, these things are beasts. I love them all and would recommend these guys to anyone. (Thank you also for your generosity as I was told you all threw in a few extra just because).

One word for my bagel; trash
I asked for a toasted bagel with bacon and cheese, gave me a non toasted stale bagel with bacon and a piece of cold cheese just smacked on top of the bacon , didn't even melt

Been there a few times now. I go for bagels & rolls for multiple day breakfast bagels & lunch rolls. Stock up for 3-4 days at a time. Very good bagels & big too. Rolls always fresh & last a couple of days. Nothing negative to say.

There's plenty of places to get bagels in Bergen County. Adam's is one of the best.Very good selection, consistent product and attentive service.Bagels are HUGE, crusty on the outside and chewy on the inside. Extra points for how the seeds etc adhere to the crust. You don't have to worry about your Everything bagel being everywhere but on the bagel!!!Coffee is solid, good selection. Only points off are for the location of the register which is awkwardly placed and can cause a bit of a log jam when they're busy.

this has to be one of the worst bagel places I've ever used moving here from Long Island. Anytime I have to call in the people that answer don't speak clearer English, nor do they take clear notes. I always have to demand them to read back what I am ordering. And it is wrong every time with substitutions that I had no desire for nor did I even mention. I strongly recommend going up into Westwood and using a different bagel store. This is absolutely absurd. If they're going to take order by phone hire somebody that speaks clear English worst thing in the morning is the order breakfast drive away and find out it's wrong that couldn't be a worse start of a day for most people I associate with. However foods good, but hits hit or miss if the person making your sandwich will skimp on the meat and or cheese!
