Adam's Bagels Cafe & Deli - River Vale

The prices were ridiculous. Got charged almost $8 for a flagella with cream cheese. When I asked for the receipt everything had weird names and there were several random added $1 charges here and there.

The woman at the counter messed up my order and I was WAY overcharged. The food wasn't even that good on top of it. Won't be coming back here ever again.

They forgot my hash browns but had no problem charging me for them. This place is ridiculously expensive I would go to any other shop for better quality and prices

I got a Reuben for breakfast with an unsweetened ice tea that cost a little over $21! Feels a bit too high for me. The man who helped me was very nice however when i asked for my receipt he gave me the cc printout and not an itemized one. I was too annoyed to clarify☹️ The sandwich was a little salty but tastes better with the coleslaw they give you with it.

Bagels and iced coffee are yummy and delicious !! But the prices are way too high. Let’s be reasonable… a taylor ham egg and cheese on a roll is $9.59? Almost 10 dollars for a simple breakfast sandwich. I can understand 6/7… but not 10 dollars.. I’m sorry that is over priced and obnoxious.

Long time customer and unfortunately will never return. I went in this morning and ordered an egg white wrap with cheese and it rung up to 16.98 ! In full transparency, they always charge a different amount varying from 11.50.-13.50. I had to walk out and leave the food behind. You can be served an entire breakfast at a restaurant for 17 dollars. The food is average and does not justify these insane prices.

Great food and friendly staff, love my weekly egg and cheese bagel, always tastes fresh and delicious. They are expensive (about $8) and sometimes the total is a slight surprise (menu not up to date with prices and credit card fees not being communicated) but a lot of things in that area are expensive

$7.45 for one bagel with cream cheese. For that amount of money I was at least expecting a thick smear of cream cheese, but there was not much at all, some parts of the bagel barely even had any. Absolute rip off.

Everyone should go to either or both of Adam's Bagels locations in River Vale and Norwood. Theirs are the best bagels I've ever had, and given the number of bagel shops in the area, that says a lot.

The only reason they're not five stars is because I've had several communication issues in both places. Once, my order was lost; another time, they ran out of bagels before filling my order. Twice, the person at the counter either didn't understand what I ordered or wasn't paying attention and assumed I wanted something I didn't actually want.

However, they are always friendly and more than happy and willing to fix the issue and make up for the mistakes - no questions asked. I love Adam's Bagels and hope others do, too.
