The man working the counter was wearing a mask, so it was hard to hear him. I ordered a beef and lamb rice platter, and then went to wait in line as a couple was in front of me ordering their toppings. They took some time ordering, which was completely fine as they had 3 plates, so I went on my phone to pass the time. After they finished, I walked up to order my toppings, and the man gave me my food in a bag claiming he called me a bunch of times and I didn’t listen so he put random toppings on it. I was confused as I didn’t hear me being called a single time, but he said “that’s not his problem” and walked away, giving me a mystery bag of toppings.
Walked back into the store, asked for his name, he wouldn’t give it to me. He eventually remade the platter begrudgingly with the toppings I wanted, but muttered under his breath the entire time. Not sure what his problem is, or his name since he wouldn’t give it to me, but just a poor, poor experience from their workers.
Food is mid too, plenty of better halal spots around, I’d check those out instead.

Halal Gyro Master in River Vale never disappoints. Their Chicken Tikka Platter is an absolute standout…..tender, smoky, perfectly spiced chicken over fragrant rice with that killer salad and extra sauces on the side. Portions are huge and the price is fair. Super friendly staff and the place is always clean. Best halal spot in the area.

There was a rock in my food…an actual pebble that I almost broke my tooth on since it broke in half while I was chewing. After calling the store to report the issue, they were not understanding of the issue and proceeded to ask “what was wrong with the food?” .. the ROCK being in it. No refund was even offered- when asked for a refund they insisted we brought the food back to make a new platter.. would never order there again. pictures don’t do justice

Great gyros and great tasting wings... I will definitely order and eat here again. Halal is also great at the way they get their meat! Humanly is the way it supposed to be!
Pathetic , just pathetic . The person who is sitting on the desk and answering the calls need to get fired , he doesn't even know how to give response . Tbh he was rude . And the food quality has been decreasing for example chicken tenders. They are just giving the old batch which is dry .

I go here often but am getting increasingly frustrated the more I do. The food tastes good. However, they never cook and serve fresh off the flat top like other halal places. They cook their meat and leave it in the chafing dishes. The meal is warm, not hot from the start. Also, the guys are not friendly at all like any other halal places. A little more effort in making the food hot off the flat top and a smile would make me go there much more often than I do.

Today I came here as a customer, and while preparing my food, you were spitting around. If you had done something like this before taking my payment, I would have canceled the order immediately. Try being a little cleaner and more respectful toward customers. I didn’t even eat any of the food. Now you might say I’m lying, but I hope your manager checks the cameras. I will also report this incident to the New Jersey Health Department, especially!
