So glad I finally made it in to try and I’ll be back soon for waffles. You can sit outside to enjoy beautiful weather. We used to go to their Westwood restaurant so I knew that the quality and taste would be great. And now they have vegan options. This photo is of the vegan chickn sandwich- so flavorful. My husband had a traditional burger and we were both very happy.

Everything was prepared exactly as ordered, and the food was scrumptious. The homemade pie amazing. You couldn’t get better service anywhere. Highly recommend this is an amazing find !!! BYOB Simple modern atmosphere don’t let that food you - one hell if an amazing chef !!

What a surprise to find this wonderful cafe! I was so excited that they have an entire separate Vegan menu!! I had the Scrambled Bowl which came with Vegan Thrilling Bacon, sourdough bread and a fresh cup of seasonal fruit. It was absolutely delicious!! 💞 We also got a side of Vegan faro salad which was savory & refreshingly sweet with basil, pear and crunchy candied walnut. All the food I ate was a treat for my tastebuds. Chris is proud and personable & he guided me toward a very memorable vegan delight of a meal. Also, pictured Steak & eggs breakfast that was ordered at my table. Friendly atmosphere and very fun, little gem of a cafe. The food feels special. It’s a unique, little spot. Go & you will see for yourself.

Really wanted to like this place. I loved it in Westwood. My avocado toast was some kind of avocado substitute ? We ordered $40 of food and wound up throwing most of it out - the hashbrowns are soggy. The only good thing we ordered was an omelet.

We hired Jacks Cafe for a 70th Birthday party of over 50 People. Jack handled everything from day one. Explaining the menu giving us options. We picked a barbecue style party with Chris (owner of Jacks) as the barbecue Person and his wonderful helper Loraine. The food was wonderful and the day was perfect. I loved Jack’s cafe when it was in Westwood and I love it even more that it’s back in River vale . You really can’t go wrong with anything that you order .(chick parm 🙌🙌) The staff/owners are friendly and make everyone feel welcomed . Went there for breakfast with my husband and got the special quesadilla with bacon egg and cheese and the Santa Anna omelets. Best breakfast in town! The serving was big and worth the price. Best home fries I almost ordered an additional side but had no room left. The decor is awesome the restaurant is so clean. The staff was super friendly. Worth a trip there!

Pancakes were dry and bland. Omelette was over done. Grilled cheese tasted like it was made on a dirty griddle. I know this was a neighborhood gem that recently reopened so we will give it another try.
