Have been looking for a Thai restaurant that is closer (than trudging down Route 17 to East Rutherford) to my home with easier to find parking…..and boy, did I find it. Lovely restaurant, with a decent sized shared parking lot. Wait staff is friendly, helpful and will guide you should you have any questions, or need recommendations. Shared a Fried Pork Belly salad, that was outstanding. Pork was crispy and delicious without being super fatty. Salad was enough for 4 starter portions or two very nice sized larger portions. I had a combo of shrimp and calamari. Five nice size shrimp and a substantial portion of calamari rings along with the veggies was a large portion. Other diner had a noodle soup with duck, which was, again, a rather large portion and was equally outstanding in taste. At most of the Thai restaurants that I have been to, they use the pepper symbol to indicate heat level. I found theirs to be much lower than what I am used to. My standard is a two-pepper level which usually brings tears to my eyes. Their pepper levels seem to be less intense, as I barley felt the heat. That, however, would not keep me from returning. This was a thoroughly enjoyable Thai meal which I had been craving. We skipped dessert since our entrees were so plentiful.

I ordered 3 bacon, egg and cheese sandwiches this morning, via DoorDash, for myself, my wife and my daughter. First time customers. We received 3 cold bacon and cheese sandwiches. No eggs!!! Yes, that’s right, no eggs!!! How does that happen? The cheese wasn’t even melted. It was THE worst breakfast sandwich we’ve ever had.

Full disclosure: DoorDash delivery at work, but an order of three large dishes arrived hot and fast! We’ve tried a lot of Thai places in this area, and this Thai dish is likely my favorite. I had the crispy pork belly basil with veggies and the spring rolls. The spring rolls were hot and tasty. The pork belly was perfectly spiced and seasoned, had a ton of flavor, and was super crispy. The veggies were sautéed just right. And the addition of the pineapple added amazing acidity and contrast! My Thai iced tea was cold and refreshing. My coworker had the green curry with chicken and also felt it was the best he’d had in a long time. Another coworker had pad Thai. This place is different than others we’ve patronized before because he was able to have more than one protein. Most places you can only order chicken or tofu or pork etc. This spot allowed him to order chicken, tofu, and veggies, which really elevated his dish and added so much flavor and texture. Typical curries and noodles, but they also have refreshing salads, dishes like braised short ribs (full of Thai flavor and looked amazing). Lots of wok and stir-fry dishes. It appears this place has far more variety than other places we’ve tried. I think this may be my new number one Thai spot in the area!
