My daughter and I were craving wings Friday night (3/29/24). Since they closed down the BluAlehouse in Woodbridge, I decided to try this location. The place was very nice, clean and not too packed for a Friday night. We were seated right away. Our servers name was Clarisse. She was very nice, professional and attentive. Great customer service! We ordered our wings (plain because we don’t like sauce) and they were good. We decided to order the crispy fingers and fries and the steak frites and fries. Both dishes were just ok…nothing to write home about. The steak frites were a bit cold and lacked flavor but the Parmesan fries were good. I would go back for the wings and maybe try something else for the main dish. I definitely miss the Woodbridge location because I never had any complaints there.

Hummus appetizer came with barely any hummus. 2 mediocre fish tacos for dinner with a side of rice that I could’ve made taste better coming out of a box of Goya. Thursday night, not weekend, so you’d expect better quality. Highly disappointed. Wasn’t even asked to have my water glass filled.Small portions. Brutal.

My daughter loved their NY Strip and she hardly likes anything! Great place and a great overall experience!

the server was very knowledgeable about my gluten and peanut allergy. made sure everything that I order was gluten and peanut free. she checked on us frequently to make our drinks were replenished and how we were enjoying our entrees.

Place is nice, good atmosphere. My waiter was really friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Only thing i had a small issue with was the cocktail menu was still fall drinks and we are nearing the end of winter into spring...i was hoping they would have had some different cocktails on their menu but was told that was the current. I did order the fall sangria, and that was really good.Their glaze wings were good, the mac bites were very good, and whatever sauce it comes with is excellent. I also had the Blu Nachos, but they were not as good as i expected. But overall, it was a good experience and would continue to go back.

Try the Wall Street burger! Update: the buffalo wings alone are worth the drive!
Went for happy hour and a quick bite. Great relaxing, casual atmosphere. Food was delicious and drink prices were very reasonable.

Unfortunately, Blu Ale has gone downhill. One of our entrees had multiple hairs on the plate. Our server was very nice and apologetic, but their “accommodation” was to bring a new entree, which meant one of us had our meal well before the other. They did not offer any discount or comp drink for the issue. The booth seating is all torn. The bathrooms have broken paper towel dispensers. Very disappointing experience.

I really liked the appetizers (mozzarella sticks and dumplings), but the others in my party were not really impressed with the food that they received. It's hard to please grandma and kids these days! I didn't like one of the sauces that came with my meal, but they were happy to substitute it with a different sauce and didn't charge me extra for something that would have normally been an additional charge. I would come back and would recommend this restaurant to others. Unfortunately, you can't please everyone.

I have been to Blu Alehouse probably 100 times no joke, and I’ve never had a bad meal. The food is always phenomenal and I have yet to find someone who has better wings than them. Staff is awesome as well. Highly recommend!!
