This ice cream place became very expensive and not worth going here no longer. A medium sundae with two toppings is now almost $10, and you’re not even receiving a full two scoops. For this much money you can buy two premium half gallons of ice cream and toppings to make your own sundaes and several of them!

Beyond disappointed. Ordered a chocolate milkshake with fresh banana. Saw one of the girls using soft serve to fill a cup and thought, no way that's for my milkshake. Sure enough, after watching her dump the bananas in and continue the process, I realized it had to be my milkshake. She then walked over and handed me the cup. I asked why she used soft serve ice cream (as the whole point in going to a homemade ice cream place is to get homemade ice cream-- not Machine made fake ice cream). Her response was that I needed to specify if I wanted real ice cream. This was the most bizarre experience and a terrible milkshake. If I wanted a cup filled with soft serve, I would have for it. You shouldn't have to ask for REAL ice cream for a milk shake... Curlys, tell your girls they should be scooping the ice cream and not taking lazy shortcuts. Applegate and Holsteins would never do such a thing.Sincerely, A pregnant upset customer who may never return.

Absolute delicious ice cream. My favorite is the cookies and cream. Staff is always super friendly. Gets busy during the warmer weather but the wait is totally worth it. Always crave it even when it's freezing out.

Why does the ice cream melt so fast here compared to other ice crean shops? It's annoying.This place went down hill, can't even read receipts to get orders right, ask for toppings on the side but they scoop out the left side of your ice cream and put the toppings on the side?? WTH. They get other ice cream in your ice cream, had a bug inside my ice cream, always getting the order wrong, the butter pecan has no pecans hal the time, the consistency is off and texture can be icy and for the price, I'm done with the aggrevation at this place.You order through a delivery service, means you can't go out to get it so when you screw up the order...you should deliver it to the customer!!It's not my fault you can't train employees to read and care if people have allergies!

Same great ice cream as Boonton, same owners, pricing, everything. This one is open later into the year (December vs November). So why does Boonton get the extra star? Most of all: indoors. Shorter wait, faster service, and you wait in a conditioned space to avoid summer heat and winter cold. Also, you get to see each of the flavors before you order. Here, you just go by the list and hope you picked right. So call me spoiled, because I live next to the best ice cream in North Jersey and here is only second best. But the noise of Route 23 and nowhere to really sit and enjoy yourself - it gets to me. 5 star ice cream if you're taking out, but don't even think about eating in. Oh, and don't order Italian ice. My friend got lemon and it had a bunch of red bits in it and didn't taste like lemon. I'm biased on ice thanks to a certain lady in Elizabeth but thought I would pass on his words to you.

found HAIR in my $8 ice cream, told the kid in the window he was RUDE and didn't replace it... no manager there except a15 yr old acting a fool and being rude in the back with no supervision! place IS FILTHY! Over priced & Gross!!! never again!!!

This is my go to place for ice cream and ice cream cakes for special occasions. In the summer months the line goes round and round. Glad to see they have a steady stream of customers who keep returning. ****
