Always shop Riverdale, great people products are usually great.....but.......today and last Saturday the baby seedless watermelons were found to be over ripe. Last we salvaged over half of one, today, it went into the trash. No way to contact customer service directly over the phone ☹️
Online ordering is confusing ,coupon should be availible to clip as soon as purchase is made
Terrible customer service, 0 help from any of the employees. They never know anything. Most of them are rude, and treat you like “finish your shopping and get out” even though they literally see me at least once a week. Not once was I able to get an answer for any basic questions - such as: where can find such and such product? I’d get a response saying “I don’t know” ?
Someone here also mentioned that a lot of the shelves are empty- and I agree, that is the case most of the time.
I have been coming here for the past year because of it’s convenient location- but honestly, it’s not even worth it anymore. I am cancelling my membership. I’d rather drive to wayne’s Costco instead.
somone called my man handsome and followed him.
Beware, there is an senior man called Hank checking the tickets on the door that is s racist and discriminatory, I already had two extremely rude situations with him. Head office is aware. He just let a non Hispanic woman pass without even checking her bags, but made me count my items and mentioned I better not be having anything hidden in between the cart. I am apalled by the racist comments of this employee. I Will cancel my membership.
Shelves missing alot of product, terribly under staffed a registers. Staff that was present was very helpful and friendly
Why are the prices in this BJ's much higher than others? Searched up online and almost every product has a higher price here. Prices can go higher up to 10 dollars per item.
I was at your store during Christmas and it was my first time in a BJ’s I’m from Manahawkin NJ and was up in the butler store for the holiday. The store was immaculate very organized and carts that actually rolled. After shopping and was online a young lady Gina took care of my order and she was so polite and pleasant something I never experienced from any store in the last 20 years. Thank you to BJ’s for having quality workers in your store . I’m going to sign up In Manahawkin bj’s I hope the service is as good as in Butler
I think the deli department has an incel probably based on how one of the men behind the counter was interacting with a female patron. She asked for plain ham and he barked back "what does that mean? We have all sorts of ham, what do you mean by plain?"
She then asked for a pound and a quarter of the plain ham and he asked "so you mean 20 ounces?" Then he proceeded to "air math" adding 16 ounces plus another 4 ounces. A complete moron if you ask me, I doubt he'd try that with a male customer. This happened on Sunday December 10th.
The same derp gave us peppered ham instead of peppered turkey. Too bad we didn't notice until we go home.
BJ’s is nice place to go for walk / shopping etc….. just avoid this BJ’s in Riverdale as this one is sorry to say big miserable spot, employees are disrespectful, unprofessional, rude, total 0 customer service. Lady’s at the registers looks like someone is forcing them to be there and work , Customer service desk employees it’s sad to say customer service when all that they do have nothing to do with customers. This BJ’s is huge disappointment for anyone who expect nothing but smile and normal customer service which is nothing els but be polite and happy while working. Here in this Riverdale BJ’s polite / normal and smile looks like hade never existed !

Recently bought 6 pack of so called fresh rolls.i brought them home and on back of bag there there was a hole with mouse bites in the bread.6 dollars in the garbage. C heck your items before you purchase.
Top notch! Staff is amazing!
Recently I purchased several baked goods here. The first was a package of apple turnovers. What I was unaware of, was that BJ's no longer puts apples in their turnovers. What the put in is a tiny amount of apples diced so small (smaller than you dice an onion for comparison) it's impossible to determine if that's what they are. There was so little filling in the turnover, I took it out and put it another turnover. It's amazing, but the double filled turnover was still just about empty. My othet purchase was their miniature brownies. The amount of sugar in these was sickening. Though, I suspect it's actually high fructose corn syrup. I wound up throwing both of them out. If you have access to a good bakery, I would go there.
Found everything I was looking for. Great bakery and fresh produce. Price's not bad. ?
I go in the early morning hours, and they usually have 1 person up front, so just don't go in a rush. Be ready to wait an average amount of time, nothing crazy. Or order ahead on the app.
