Stopped in for lunch on our way to Adirondacks and felt immediately welcomed (even though we arrived 20 min before closing). My husband had a western egg sandwich and the homemade corned beef hash, which was exceptional. I had a tuna sandwich and while it’s hard to get excited about tuna fish, it was a perfect sandwich. This is the type of neighborhood place that every town had at one point - a place where people met to eat, share the news of the day, connect - and of which there are too few today. A real gem.

Prices on the menu are completely inaccurate. I ordered a Reuben sandwich, which was horrible. The sandwich was very dry and had very little pastrami. Definitely not worth the $12 they charged me. I'll stick to the Diners for my Reubens.

Service was very good, food was tasty, and chef came over to our table and asked if she made my omelet correctly. We'll be back.
Parking: Owner/chef has been there for over 34 years.

Quaint little town off the highway. Reminded me of a hallmark movie.
Parking: If you park in front, best bet is to back in.

Exactly what I was hoping it was. Perfect portions, good prices. Simple and quality diner/luncheon food. I sat at the well loved counter, and was served a lovely dish of ham, eggs and home fries by a lovely lady who I believe was the namesake of the joint. It seems like a very regular and dedicated crowd.
Wish more diners were like Karen's.

Burgers and fries are decent. Pretty intense smell of grease in the place.

Karen's Kountry Kitchen is the new name of this old business and everything about it was great except the crazy prices.
Vegetarian options: Easy to eat a veggie omelet or pancakes or French toast.
Wheelchair accessibility: Entrance at street level, plenty of space inside: not crowded with furniture.

Really classic old school diner, great ham and cheese omlette
Randomly stopped in for breakfast. The french toast was really good. The 2 ladies working were nice and attentive. Not many luncheonettes left and so glad we found this one!
Excellent service and great food
Such quality food served here abs Karen the owner cook everything. I highly recommend
What a delightful gem. Clean, but obviously worn with age. The ladies who were working there were very friendly. My test of a good diner is the Rueben: theirs was delicious and the bread was not a bit soggy! Perfect place to stop on my journey.
