So itās been about 1 yr. Since Iāve been here and I have to say that the service was so much better than when they 1st open. The staff was very friendly and attentive especially to my elderly mother that it happened to be her birthday. The food was delicious my mother is the biggest Spanish food critic! And she was extremely Happy and enjoyed everything from appetizers to dessert. The waiter mustāve over heard me saying it was her birthday and when our delicious Tres Leche cake came out they sang Happy Birthday! To her she was so happy. Canāt wait to go back.
We decided to try Rumba Cubana in Rochelle Park. We called ahead to make a reservation, but they told us it was first come, first serve. Luckily, we only waited about five minutes to be seated. The place is very cozy, beautifully decorated, and has a great ambiance.
For appetizers, we had the āRumberito,ā which is a nice sampler of different appetizers, and the bacon-wrapped yuca, which was delicious.
For the main course, we tried the āChurrasco Rumberoā and a dish called āPoquito de Todo,ā which included lechĆ³n, arroz moro, ropa vieja, and other tasty sides. Everything was very flavorful and reasonably priced.
We had a child with us who ordered the āgallinita ciega,ā which is basically chicken with rice and beans, and he loved it.
For dessert, the tres leches and coconut flan were spectacular. The only downside was the chocolate lava cake, which wasnāt warm enough and didnāt have the molten center youād expect.
One small drawback is that parking can be tricky. You either have to use the valet parking or find street parking nearby, which can be a bit of a challenge.
Overall, it was a very positive experience, and weāll definitely be coming back. Highly recommended! Thanks

I was unhappy with one thing been going there for yrs and other day I get my car after dinner and it smells like weed in it mind you I don't smoke weed or do drugs. I called restaurant and spoke to Mgr explained everything and how mad I was but after detailing my truck and everything my truck still has that smell 3days after I will never go back there Mgr said he was going to contact valet Co to call me but no one did. Very angry customer š¤¬

Very pleasant ambiance. The server and rest of the staff were very attentive. The food was flavorful (chicken sandwich and breaded chicken meal) and served promptly. I would highly recommend visiting this location. Prices are very reasonable, especially with most restaurant prices still being unreasonably high.
