One of my personal favorite restaurants around. The food and service have always been exceptional! It’s a nice environment whether you sit in the bar room or dining area. Wide variety of beers on tap.

1 star bc the server really couldn't care less about servicing our table. too busy chatting with the table adjacent to ours

place lost decent money too bc we would have spent a lot more (@16.50 a cocktail) bc the martini are very small

also wonder why 4 orders of the SAME ribs had 2 different prices???

It was a great place to have family celebrate my brother in law's 50 wedding anniversary. It was perfect for a party of 20. Food was great.

We had a terrific experience dining at Jim Johnston's! My wife had a ribeye and I had prime rib. Both were cooked to perfection (hers medium rare and mine rare) and they were tender and delicious. The mashed potatoes and broccoli were delicious as well. The server was polite and attentive and, even though we were seated near the bar, the atmosphere was fairly nice - very casual and relaxed.

The prices were not too high and, in fact, I thought they were quite reasonable given the overall quality and deliciousness of the steaks.

I would definitely go back there.

Parking: Easy access from Eisenhower Parkway ... two different driveways lead to a large parking lot.
