This family oriented and authentic Italian restaurant is right in the heart of Essex County. The pork chop is a must order, described as the best ever had. They have vegetarian options and are wheelchair accessible. The restaurant is relatively small, so it's not ideal for kids who like to run around. It's a great place, definitely an intimate old school Italian place. They serve water, fresh bread and butter, and pickled carrots. It's BYOB. The meatballs are delicious, served in a zesty marinara sauce. The Double cut pork chop with long, hot peppers and potatoes is thick, juicy, tender, and delicious. The fusilli pasta with sausage, bacon, and peas in a pink Rosa sauce is cooked perfect al dente. The service, atmosphere, everything is great.
