I think they changed the chicken recipe recently and now it's kind of mediocre. Used to be really juicy and I enjoyed the crumbly breading, had a homemade feel and taste. Now it's not as juicy and just has a thin fried skin. Pretty disappointing, used to be one of my favorite local comfort food spots. Sides are still decent.
I love dark meat chicken and they have an 8 piece thighs and legs selection. It was a big portion and ALL DELICIOUS. Plus, we had french fries and onion rings, another big portion and also very tasty. Smiling staff and a good selection. I'm trying the chicken soup next time!
