We ordered a delivery. It was 2 hours late. The food was tepid. Too much sugar in one of the dishes. The taste was below average. Noodles were over cooked. Spring roll was rubbery and dumplings tasted off. Very disappointing.
Food is always fresh here, and staff is friendly. I usually stop here and get the lunch specials. Food Never disappoints

My shrimp rolls had no shrimp in them at all, the wontons were also harder than they should be.

The food is fantastic. I'm gluten-free, and II can't tell you how responsive they are. Love the food.

Grew up in the area and didn’t find this gem until recently. Best Chinese takeout around. Never misses. Kind helpful owner.
My wife and I used to order from many places to mix it up, and when we found this we stopped ordering anywhere else.
11/10 would recommend!

They close way too early in my option for a Chinese place. The food is fine, not bad nothing special. You can kind of eat inside but you have to stand and it’s not climate controlled. Friendly staff.

I Ordered online and I thought I was ordering from the regular all day menu but they gave me the lunch special, no where was I able to say what kind of rice, I wanted white and I got fried, I could not order a soup choice and I got an egg roll no soup (my fault for not asking) general tso chicken was tough and chewy, I will not be back. I used to go there a few times a month back when Pooh was there. Down Hill. I should have gone to China Pavilion IV.

I ordered moo shu pork. It was barely cooked pork with onions and cabbage. No clouds ears, mushrooms or bamboo shoots. TERRIBLE!

After reading the good reviews we decided to give this restaurant a try. Everything ordered was bland. (Not even condiments helped). Fried rice was a pale yellow with white chicken that looked steamed or boiled, so it wasn’t really fried rice. Spare ribs were brown, dry and tasteless. Shrimp egg foo young had a nice consistency but again no flavor and very few shrimp. Wonton soup was salty with inedible wontons. Pork fried rice was bland. I gave this restaurant 3 stars as the food seemed fresh, but very disappointing. The search for decent Chinese take out nearby continues.

Ordered the veggie soup and spring rolls through Grubhub. The lady was helpful over the phone to answer my questions. Also the soup was really good with good amount of veggies. The spring rolls were good too. Will order more food from here.

Best Chinese food I had in awhile.Had to expand my search out of Livingston.Great dumplings!
Our food was delicious. No complaints about that or the customer serviceDelivery was also quick
I ordered a side order of boneless spare ribs small and a egg roll for my mom the ribs were very good and delicious ? perfectly cooked and not greased my mom enjoyed the egg roll. The prices are very good ? and cheaper than other Chinese restaurants. The young Asian lady who works there was very nice and sweet. Also the place was very clean and easy to find. I will definitely order again. ☺️ They don't offer delivery but you can use door dash but it's very close to where I live so I don't mind pickup.
Ordered from Wok Star for the first time today. The House Special Lo Mein tasted okay, but was large on noodles but woefully shy on protein.I ordered the General Tso’s Chicken to be medium spicy but there wasn’t a hint of spice. Aside from the spice the dish was just okay. The chicken fried rice was undercooked and crunchy. The chicken Lo Mein got a good review from a family member. The real telltale sign that Wok Star isn’t even trying is that their “homemade” mustard is actually Gulden’s Spicy Brown mustard in little travel cups. That’s just sad.Overall, it was less than average and not even good enough to consider for a second chance.
