I ordered moo shu pork. It was barely cooked pork with onions and cabbage. No clouds ears, mushrooms or bamboo shoots. TERRIBLE!

Good basic Chinese American takeout. VERY reasonable prices. Quick service and very nice family business.

After reading the good reviews we decided to give this restaurant a try. Everything ordered was bland. (Not even condiments helped). Fried rice was a pale yellow with white chicken that looked steamed or boiled, so it wasn’t really fried rice. Spare ribs were brown, dry and tasteless. Shrimp egg foo young had a nice consistency but again no flavor and very few shrimp. Wonton soup was salty with inedible wontons. Pork fried rice was bland. I gave this restaurant 3 stars as the food seemed fresh, but very disappointing. The search for decent Chinese take out nearby continues.

Ordered the veggie soup and spring rolls through Grubhub. The lady was helpful over the phone to answer my questions. Also the soup was really good with good amount of veggies. The spring rolls were good too. Will order more food from here.

Wok Star is hands down, the best, Chinese takeout place I've been to and Ive been to many. Been going here for 10 years. the food is tremendous. They make it to order low sodium if you want and always greeted with a pleasant, friendly smile.

I ordered a side order of boneless spare ribs small and a egg roll for my mom the ribs were very good and delicious ? perfectly cooked and not greased my mom enjoyed the egg roll. The prices are very good ? and cheaper than other Chinese restaurants. The young Asian lady who works there was very nice and sweet. Also the place was very clean and easy to find. I will definitely order again. ☺️ They don't offer delivery but you can use door dash but it's very close to where I live so I don't mind pickup.

Ordered from Wok Star for the first time today. The House Special Lo Mein tasted okay, but was large on noodles but woefully shy on protein.I ordered the General Tso’s Chicken to be medium spicy but there wasn’t a hint of spice. Aside from the spice the dish was just okay. The chicken fried rice was undercooked and crunchy. The chicken Lo Mein got a good review from a family member. The real telltale sign that Wok Star isn’t even trying is that their “homemade” mustard is actually Gulden’s Spicy Brown mustard in little travel cups. That’s just sad.Overall, it was less than average and not even good enough to consider for a second chance.

Great lunch deals: small portions but tasty and fresh and a good amount of broccoli with the general Tso’s. Fair pricing ($7.xx for a lunch box). Thank you!

Ordered sesame chicken with the sauce on the side, white meat only. I got mostly batter and fragments of chicken. Some of it was fried skin or weird pieces. They seemed aggravated that I asked for the sauce on the side. Also I wanted brown rice and they gave me fried rice.

I read all of the reviews before ordering and noted recent reviews were excellent and so I decided to give the place a try. I was happy that I made the right choice. All of our noodle dishes were excellent and the General's Chicken which can often be mushy from takeout places had crispy pieces of chicken with the right amount of spice. Service was incredibly friendly when I went to pick up my order. I would definitely consider again as there is a lack of high quality Chinese takeout places in the area.
