Ordered a birthday cake and it was really good. Fresh filling and the cake has a great texture. I'll definitely order from them again. The bakery is also a deli so I'll have to try them for lunch as well.

Never have I been to a bakery with so many unnecessary stipulations.
I went in to order a 1/4 sheet cake for a birthday party three days away. First, the male representative said he needed to check whether that was enough time to make it. Fine. He confirmed it was. So far, so good.
Then I requested a cake with half strawberry whipped cream filling and the other half lemon. The female representative immediately said they could not do that due to store policy. Instead, she insisted I would need a 10 inch round three layer cake with one layer lemon and another strawberry whipped cream.
I explained that I could not do that because one of my guests is allergic to lemon. She still refused and said they could not accommodate the request.
This is now the second time I have gone into this bakery trying to place an order with no success. The first time I was told all orders must be placed three days in advance which is exactly why I came back today.
My neighbors warned me to just go to ShopRite but I was hoping for a good local bakery cake since moving here. Unfortunately this place has too many rules and rigid policies and very little flexibility. In my previous town bakeries routinely accommodated customized cake orders without issue.
Disappointing experience overall.

I went there this past Tuesday to order a cookie tray. I’ve been there several times before & love their food & baked goods. I’ve aways been confused since most bakeries have a ticket system. They don’t. There was a father with his young daughter who came in behind me/ she was about 3 or 4. She was being very patient hanging with her dad waiting their turn. I heard him tell the counter girl that he was next since she has taken someone else to wait on. She made a snarky comment to him about calling next and he didn’t respond. I was placing my order & didn’t notice if she called next or not. He quietly told his little girl let’s go we’ll find another place to go. I felt so bad for him and really mad at the counter girl for her rude response. This is a bit windy- but maybe s ticket machine could have alleviated this problem. The counter woman may have been having a bad day, but poor customer service lost a customer and definitely made an impression on me.

We stop here every time we’re in the area (which is about weekly) and there’s always something new to try. The assortment of cookies and pastries and gourmet foods feels endless. I have yet to not like anything here. We always grab a box of cookies, and maaaaaybe some small desserts. But I always come here for dessert if I have a party or get together to go to. You can’t go wrong, it’s the best bakery in the area. From soups, to fresh baked breads and cakes, focaccia/pizza, Italian dinners to go, cookies and strombolis. They have it all.

Unfortunately, I tried a custard filled chocolate, covered doughnut, and I could tell was cooked in old oil. It had that taste.😬
