No care for the customers at all. If you’re planning a party don’t bother calling ahead to pre order. A week before the surprise party I was planning I went in to ask if I had to preorder if I was getting large amounts of cookies and pastries. The girl at the counter told me no. The next week I called just to confirm and they told me I did have to pre order. Already confusion but I thought it’s a good thing I called to double check. So I preordered the pastries and cookies and told them my pick up time for 11am. I get a phone call at exactly 11am while I’m on my way over to pick them up and was told they ran out of the cookies I had pre ordered. No apology or anything. Then they proceeded to ask when I was picking up my order because it wasn’t written down…..??? Then they asked if I could come in later on when the cookies were done baking. What??? I was throwing a surprise party that afternoon there was no way. Then I thought maybe I’ll just get more of the pastries I had ordered to make up for the loss but when I went to look at the spots in the display cases they were empty. They didn’t prepare at all. I don’t understand why you would tell your customers to preorder ahead so you have enough cookies for other customers while also making the customer put down a deposit yet then run out. Then to ask if I could come back when I’m throwing the party? That’s just ridiculous. The girl was totally unapologetic both over the phone and when I came to pick up the cookies. Also, make sure to check your boxes before you leave the bakery. Anytime I ask for powdered sugar on the pastries they barely put it on or forget to put any at all. Cannolis were hardly filled as well. You definitely don’t get what you paid for here.

Old time Italian bakery with tons of options. I wish there was one in Morris county, New Jersey. Every single dessert, cookie or pastry is being top-notch. Definitely a must stop by when you're on that area.

The lobster tail wasn’t layered enough and was stale, instead of a ricotta base they used cannoli cream with chocolate chips lol. The cannoli cream was good though! A slice of cake seemed a bit dry - maybe it’s because it was leftovers from a long week but not the best of experience. Also was lacking flavor :/

I love this bakery been coming here for 10years now and the treats get better with time I would recommend there cannoli lobster tails cakes and muffins soo good

Maria’s bakery has an abundance of delicious treats to choose from. Their employee Natalie was very kind and patient and went above and beyond to assist us with our order and is such a sweetheart! We will definitely be back for more delicious desserts! :)

I was only in and out to do a pickup for somebody else. But it looks like an old school Italian bakery with good bread and luscious desserts. I'd love to try it, but I'm always on a diet away from sweet stuff, lol
