This place is always a nice way to spend an evening. Dinner and a show. The food is always well prepared and fresh. The fried rice here is amazing. The restaurant is always clean, workers are always welcoming and hospitable.

There was only one chef for hibachi and we were told there would be a 30-40 minute wait, which was close to closing time.

Kim was an amazing Chef, I been to many hibachis and he made it such an amazing experience. I’ll definitely be going to this place from now on whenever I want hibachi. He made my birthday dinner one to remember. He deserves a raise and more! Such an amazing person and an even greater chef. The food was absolutely delicious

This was my go to hibachi every time for years. The time before last was perfection. The chef cooked the salmon, vegetables and rice expertly. However, this last time, was disappointing. The chef undercooked the salmon, after I told him to cook it light, not medium rare. Luckily, the restaurant was very accommodating and cooked me another piece, which was better. The brocolli was also undercooked and hard. The tea was good and the service was excellent. I will still go back, and hope the next meal is as good as our previous meal.

The food was average. Portions were small. The different elements of the dish were made separately. Like rice first. Them noodles. Then vegetable. Then meats. So unless you like to starve and let the first courses get cold while you wait for your meat, you eat each thing one at a time. Weird. Never had that issue at any other Hibachi spot. Seevice was okay. Food was mediocre. Floors were sticky. Place was dark, dank and smelled musty. Won’t be going back.

Wonderful experience! Matsuya delivers where it counts with excellent service, perfect food, and an ambiance that reminds me of an old Japanese restaurant. Dated interior? Who cares?! The food is EXCELLENT, top quality hibachi. Dare I say it even beats Benihana.

Dirty table ....rice and some food at table and grill
Not nice service
Restaurant was empty
We sit at empty table....then after few min waitress ad in to our table 4 additional ppl.
There was 10 empty tables around
So we left .
Strongly suggest...do not go there
There is more much better places around

Service was exceptionally slow. In fact one couple at our hibachi table walked out before dinner as it took an hour and one half before they started cooking! It took them 20 minutes before even taking our drink order. Food was meh. Been there multiple times and it’s hit or miss. Wrote a letter to the owner and no response. They didn’t care while we were there and obviously didn’t care afterwards! A $250 check for four - I expect satisfactory service and at least decent food. We had neither! Won’t be back

Slow service,food is meh and inconsistent Most recently service was ridiculously slow! 20 minutes for a drink 1 1/2 hours to start cooking hibachi! One couple walked out. Expensive and they don’t care
