Deeply Disappointing Experience at the Saddlebrook Starbucks (Anthony – Drive-Thru)
I am writing this with a very heavy heart after one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had. My husband passed away a month ago, and while the holidays have always been my favorite time of year, this Christmas has been incredibly hard to get through. I stopped by the Saddlebrook Starbucks shortly before closing, hoping to order my husband’s favorite coffee—something small that I thought might bring a moment of comfort on a very difficult day.
We arrived several minutes before closing and watched as three cars ahead of us placed and received their orders. When we pulled up, however, the drive-through employee, Anthony, refused to take ours. The store was still open, their machines were clearly still running, and we tried to speak to him kindly and reasonably, asking if he could please just take our order. Instead of understanding or compassion, we were met with rudeness, dismissive behavior, and unnecessary hostility.
This wasn’t about coffee—it was about basic humanity. It would have taken him less than five minutes to make that drink, but instead his attitude and refusal turned an already painful day into something even harder. I walked away in tears, feeling not just disappointed but genuinely hurt.
I truly hope Starbucks corporate takes this seriously. No customer should ever be treated this way, especially when showing up before closing and simply asking for service that others in line just received. I’ve always loved Starbucks for its warmth, consistency, and community—but this experience was the complete opposite.
Please address this so that no one else has to go through something like this again. Small acts of kindness matter more than people realize.

I come to this Starbucks DAILY and the girls there are beyond rude. She charged me for the wrong order and it never refunded to my Starbucks app. Terrible customer service

The parking lot just needs trash cans by the Tesla chargers so that people can stop littering in the lot.

Absolutely unacceptable! Came to the drive thru today and ordered two grand caramel macchiatos. When I got home and put our drinks on the table i realized the one felt lighter then the other and the mouth part of the lid had coffee on it. They gave me someone’s coffee from an hour earlier that was clearly already drank from.

The in-store supervisor name Patricia is unprofessional I called the store to explain to her an issue I had and she interrupted me while I was talking then I say “thank you for interrupting” me and then Patricia said “you’re welcome” with a jolly voice. Then I told Patricia “I want to speak to your boss because what you just did was unprofessional”
She’s not going to disrespect me by saying “You’re welcome” for interrupting me. I am a paying customer.
After I said that Patricia hanged up the phone call. I called back, no answer.
Before that phone call I called I went to the store to speak to the supervisor and one of the employees said “she’s on her 30 minute break” it 6:50 am how can she be on her 30 minute break if the day just started it’s 7:20 in the morning.
Patricia does not deserve that title she has she has terrible customer service skills. That was childish behavior, which Patricia done.
She think she has the last laugh when she hanged up the phone and not answer my phone call back.
I called Corcoran because behavior is unacceptable.

One star for Manny’s poor service and terrible attitude. I honestly wish I had my interaction with him in the drive-thru on video. It was very weird how snarky and rude he was. It through me off so much I would not have ordered anything at all if I wasn’t on the way to work. Starbucks, do better, and Manny, fix your attitude.

Order was made wrong by short spanish light brown skin with glasses and my girl spoke to a tall light skin girl i think she is the manager she said don't worry I will make it again the brown skin latin girl was mean mugging my wife and talk about my wife on her microphone headset to the girl that was correcting the drink what an awful feeling, we wasn't even mad at her my wife wanted her drink made correctly because the girl put a whole bunch of chocolate and didn't taste good at all!
I LITERALLY VISIT THIS STARBUCKS EVERYDAY. It’s very close to my home. I was so disturbed by her behavior, I wrote this review in the parking lot. But the young, slimmer built young lady at the drive thru, who wears glasses SHOULD NOT BE WORKING WITH THE PUBLIC!! This is the third time she’s thrown money back in my hand and her attitude is terrible! I voiced my displeasure with the other young lady but nothing seems to have been done. She cannot deal with stress in real time! Put her somewhere where she can work alone! But if she can’t get her attitude together, every job isn’t for everybody! I’ve never had any issue with her that caused her behavior , yet she is very rude and inconsiderate!!!EVERY TIME I COME THERE AND SHE IS WORKING I WILL RIGHT A BAD REVIEW!

I don’t usually write reviews for chain restaurants since the experience is typically consistent—but this has to be one of the worst Starbucks I’ve ever visited. Not only was I completely ignored, but my order was wrong again lol. Lesson learned: sometimes the reviews really are worth believing.

Just walked in here to pick up a order standing in front of 2 Employees working on some order I’m guessing it’s close to closing time and no one acknowledged me for like 6-7 mins until I was like hello do you see me and then he was like oh yeah working on your order so I wait then he just places the order without even saying hey sorry about that enjoy terrible customer service coming from a Supervisor with customer service experience

This is by far the most uninviting Starbucks I’ve ever been to. The staff doesn’t smile, doesn’t greet you when you walk in, and avoids eye contact like it’s a policy. It feels uncomfortable just standing there waiting — they don’t even announce your order when it’s ready.
While I was there, two different customers actually complained about how cold and unfriendly the atmosphere was. One woman even asked to speak to a manager, and the employees just laughed and said “no.” Seriously?
If you’re looking for the welcoming Starbucks experience we all expect, you won’t find it here. Really disappointing.

Worst Starbucks experience. I’d rather drink gas station coffee. Customer service was atrocious they should be ashamed of themselves.
Mobile ordered 2 coffees, stood in the store for 10 minutes, watched one girl work, 4 others standing there talking. When I inquired if my order was received I got the nastiest attitude and was told “if the drink isn’t there, they’re working on it”. 5 minutes later I got one of the two drinks and I asked about the second and she ignored me, could care less, until another girl walked over and made my second drink.
