The food was AMAZING as always, compliments to the chef and his staff. The wagyu appetizer with the caviar was a nice twist. For those that have never been; they start off with 2 types of home made bread with a sweet butter you can smoother on top. With that you are given a seasonal shot of soup ; ours was butternut squash(one of my favorites) and this one did not disappoint. The menu changes seasonally, always something on the menu for any pallet, even if the inner child fancy's...
Overall, my wife and I thought the food was salty. Also for the price, the dishes lacked presentation. It was presented very simple- nothing that caught our eyes. Would we go back, probably not.
Held a business dinner at The Saddle River Inn. All I can say is everything was excellent. The service, the ambiance and most importantly, the food. It is not cheap, but you get what you pay for. Look forward to going back real soon.
