Great hidden gem ice cream is made in house great selection of flavors. Food prices are great . We ordered a foot long hot dog with chili and onions i had a double cheeseburger order of onion rings a soda cosr 16.50.

We visited probably about 30 minutes before they closed. However the staff was friendly and attentive and didn't complain or seem disgruntled about having to serve a family of five while they cleaned up the day. 2 people in our party ordered the better buster which was humongous and from what I am told delicious. Even my beau who normally finishes all his food took something home. I had a cheesesteak sub that I was pretty satisfied with and the girls had a double cheeseburger and chicken sandwich and there were fries that were hot and well salted. The restroom is located in the back of the restaurant which for the time of night was a little creepy but clean. Wouldnt travel out of my way to go here but was a nice change from the normal fastfood!
The ice cream flavors are delicious and the hot dogs are filling.

This rating is for nostalgia only, getting ice cream in the back of the coaches truck after winning a baseball game in the 80s. Ice cream is fine, food is fun but like a campy movie, get in the mood when you stop at this local institution.
