I had the pleasure of meeting J.R., yesterday, when I was working in Salem. I googled restaurants near me and took a chance on this place; they did not disappoint. This was THE best barbecue I'd ever eaten (even compared to the south). The ribs and chicken were juicy and the flavor permeated all the way to the bone. This place is a hidden gem; I'm an hour away and plan to make the drive back regularly.

The meat was tender and flavored perfectly, had the exact amount of cheese that made it perfect and boyyyyyy don’t get me started on the fried onions on it. The pulled pork was SLAMMMMMINNNNNNNN. Word on the street is they’re going to be open 7 days a week which means I will go poor but at least I’ll be fed and happy.
I literally bring a fork with me in the car when I know I’m getting barbecue. Everything is so delicious and flavorful. The meat is always so tender and never dry. And let me tell you the Mac and cheese omg. It’s heaven in your mouth.
