“We randomly stopped at the New Castle Farmers Market on a drive elsewhere and randomly happened upon Los Jarritos and thought it was some of the best authentic Mexican we’ve had on the east coast (don’t you love it when that happens?).

We split a burrito with pork and green sauce and a chicken tamal. The burrito was better than the tamal but we still thoroughly enjoyed both.

The pork in the burrito was exceptional - and the red and green hot sauces were an ideal complement.

Chips and salsa were also delicious - can’t tell if they were included or not but our total bill including a Mexican coke was less than $16.

Stopping at this flea market felt like a portal to another world for us out-of-towners, but we enjoyed the experience and would happily go back to Los Jarritos.“

The Bianca pizza was really delicious and so were the Mango Habanero wings. The wings are huge and smothered in sauce and so tasty. The Carne Asada burrito is always a hit! “My first time visiting while out discovering new places in the Newport area. Good authentic Mexican. Not Tex-mex/ Taco Bell. Good service and prices. The flavors were very good. Food was fresh tasting and full of flavor. The sauces were excellent. A local eatery that deserves a try. What it lacks in decor is more than made up for by the food and service. I will be eating here regularly.“
