“Today was the first time I came to eat at La Parrillada restaurant and it was a very good experience, the service was very good and attentive and most importantly, the food was very good. I ordered the birria pizza with consommé and the truth is, birria is one of the Better than I've ever eaten, then we enjoyed a good dessert, also very good, I think we will return very soon ???“

“We randomly stopped at the New Castle Farmers Market on a drive elsewhere and randomly happened upon Los Jarritos and thought it was some of the best authentic Mexican we’ve had on the east coast (don’t you love it when that happens?).
We split a burrito with pork and green sauce and a chicken tamal. The burrito was better than the tamal but we still thoroughly enjoyed both.
The pork in the burrito was exceptional - and the red and green hot sauces were an ideal complement.
Chips and salsa were also delicious - can’t tell if they were included or not but our total bill including a Mexican coke was less than $16.
Stopping at this flea market felt like a portal to another world for us out-of-towners, but we enjoyed the experience and would happily go back to Los Jarritos.“

“My first time visiting while out discovering new places in the Newport area. Good authentic Mexican. Not Tex-mex/ Taco Bell. Good service and prices. The flavors were very good. Food was fresh tasting and full of flavor. The sauces were excellent. A local eatery that deserves a try. What it lacks in decor is more than made up for by the food and service. I will be eating here regularly.“

“UPDATE: 2024 - Food Quality still awesome! We got the "grandma's pizza" and unfortunately it was overdone. They made us a new one and were genuinely concerned on us enjoying the food. Mind you, this was done after it was delivered and they'd already closed. It was EXCELLENT the time! BTW, if you're wondering its a Sicilian margarita pizza with the texture of tomato pie. REALLY GOOD! Also, El Pastor is a another big hit!
When we moved to the area, our neighbors recommended this little place. They are my top place to go to for pizza. Recommend trying the margarita pizza, its way better than Ninos! Wings are yummy too, nice and meaty. Be warned the mild, isnt mild but still is flavorful.
In honesty, their pasta game is okay. I'd say Porto Finos for burgers and pasta, then 3 coutries for pizza.“
