I’ve been driving by this place for over 1 month and finally decided to order takeout Saturday night for my family. Let’s just say they did not disappoint! When you walk in the mood is instantly set by the R&B they have playing and the smell captivates you! I had the grilled shrimp, baked Mac and Cheese, Collards, Sweet Potatoes (MY FAV) and Fried chicken wings. The wings were seasoned to perfection but I prefer smaller wings. Just my preference but they were still delicious! The boys had cheeseburgers and fries. The menu is HUGE! I can’t wait to go back this weekend and this time we will eat in to enjoy the vibe!

So, where do I begin. The food choices in Salem, NJ are slim to none, unless I just don't know where they are. The food was amazing, I went for fish and grits, and was not disappointed. The ambiance and the customer service is exceptional. It is almost like family. I called to place an order and J. said "Is this order for Prince." For me, the connection to the customers is awesome! This IS my to go to spot, my family frequent them and are there atleast twice a week. Food, Service, Atmosphere, Customer Service, Activities, Seating and Music is on point. Oh, might I add, Black Owned.

I stopped here on my first time to sell New Jersey, and I loved it. The food really seemed like it took a lot of effort to make and there were so many unique choices for sauces and spices. I would totally come back again, very easily. The staff was extremely nice and welcoming, and there were chessboard to every seat, so entertainment was great and the music they played was exceptional.

Microwave food not worth the money overly salted frozen vegetables. I'm surprised this place is still here.
Food was AMAZING! Last time, I got the garlic parm wings (naked) and you can not go wrong!! They were delicious!! Cooked just right and perfect amount of sauce! The atmosphere is nice too! Awesome staff & karaoke was fun. A must try if you’re in the area.

Nah. I’m not paying $5 for microwaved greens. This place used to be the go to now it’s empty and the food is not even sub par. I normally try and support black owned businesses but I’ll be surprised if they last thru summer with this type of practices.

I'm always hesitant when trying new places but this was definitely worth it. My favorite was the chicken & fries but my friend got the Salmon nuggets. Said they were REALLY GOOD. FINALLY a fresh spot close by. Will definitely be a new 'go-to' said 20 min but was ready in 15.

My boyfriend and I ordered takeout from Nellies and we were blown away by the delicious, high-quality, and homemade food. As newcomers to the area, we were thrilled to find such a hidden gem. Every dish was bursting with unbelievable flavors, especially the Nola's Shrimp Po Boy which was perfectly lightly breaded and the sauce was to die for, next time I am going to ask for extra shrimp for the sandwich as the shrimp was so good. We also enjoyed the honey bread, soul roll, breaded chicken wings with hot honey sauce, seasoned fries, and jaws sandwich - all were absolutely delicious. The standout dish for me was the soul roll, with its unique and flavorful combination of ingredients. From the kind and helpful lady who took our order to the last bite of food, the entire experience was great. If you're in the area, Nellies is a must-visit restaurant.
