I have come to Arirang many times with my family before but this was the worst experience we ever had. We went on a Saturday we were a party of 6 and it was 30 mins after they opened to celebrate my mom’s birthdays they were not busy but was told the wait would be an hour to an hour and 15 minutes. So we waited we were called before the hour which made us happy. As we were walking to the table the manager came and told the hostess not to seat us at a table to seat at another table as she took us to the table there was a large group there that were scattered between two tables and changing seats and then they told we would be seating at two different tables. Which we did not appreciate at we were a party of 6 why should we be separated when we are all together. So of course we had two waiters and two chefs which is beyond crazy to me because we had never been separated before so we really didn’t get to enjoy our meal as a family my kids were upset. Then the chef at the table I was seating at didn’t do nothing to make the experience fun that even my daughter was upset and saying that this was boring. I had to be jumping from each table in order to help my family order their food. The food was cooked in a rush no interaction with my family. Then the large group that we were seated we had many request for the foods like extra stuff and none of this and the chef did not ask us if we wanted our food that way as well. The waiters only came by like two times. Then when we went to pay the check of course they put on our bill something we didn’t order but that the other big group ordered. So we had to get that fix and then the waiter didn’t give us the receipt back once the issue was fixed so that we could double check the bill to make sure everything was right. I also thought that since we were a party of 6 the gratuity was included in the bill cause when we have gone previously it has been on the bill so not sure if the policy changed that then our waiter said that we didn’t include a tip in the credit card receipt. So now I am not sure if we were forced to give double tip cause I tried to find their policy on the website and it is not there. So in short this was not a great experience if I could give zero stars I would. Completely upset that my moms birthday was ruined and most likely will not return to this location.

I did not enjoy being there. I’ve been to so many hibachi places and this one is the worst I’ve been to. My fish was mushy and tasteless like it was freezed so many times before it was cooked. I’m sorry, but it was disgusting. Portions aren’t too big comparing to other hibachi locations I’ve been to. And you pay crazy money. Never paid $96 tips before. And for that amount of tips the waitress had courtesy to comment on drinking the forth glass of coke because it’s a free refill. Service was bad. We asked for napkins and we got just few small squares… like, really?? We’re 12 people here…They try to save on you so I WOULD NOT recommend going there. Didn’t feel special and it was supposed to be a special day for my mother’s first birthday in this country. We ended up paying way more this place deserves. Nothing was on point there. Even chef didn’t entertain us much. While other Chefs did better our chef was burning my mushy fish that I ended up getting at the end of my meal. And thanks god I didn’t wait because it wasn’t even worthy to wait for. The only things I liked there is drinks. Good margarita, good apple vodka, good pina colada. I liked shrimps but I got only 3 pieces. And that was the only thing I really enjoyed from the food I had on my plate. My mother didn’t feel special at her birthday there because there were other birthdays and they were putting special music for them and for my mom they just brought a sparkling candle (that was getting to the end by the time of placing it on a table) on ice cream that is included to the price anyway. No special piece of cake for a birthday person. No music. No welcoming feeling whatsoever.Another thing that I liked though was the fact that we were seated (12 people) almost right away without a problem. But i reserved ahead. I read people were saying wait time is horrible there even though you reserved ahead (which I don’t understand since this place isn’t the greatest for me), but we had no problem with that.Bottom line I wouldn’t recommend this place. Go some other hibachi. I know that you can have more way more fun elsewhere with better service and food. Other hibachi have more fun chefs with chick toys popping out of the egg and other fun tricks they do. I feel more cozy in other places. That’s the first time I didn’t enjoy hibachi place and unfortunately it happened to be on my mother’s birthday. It was my first and last time in that location.

The food was excellent, but extra expensive. You're charged extra to get fried rice and/or noodles when they are already heavy on the price. That being said, our waiter was fantastic and cleared or packed up every plate as I finished. The chef was funny and cooked my steak perfectly. My husband wasn't thrilled with the fried rice though, but I liked it. The hibachi room was so chaotic and loud which is my only small complaint. It was hard to hear one another, but the entertainment value was there. It was an experience and like dinner with a show. Still worth checking out if you're not looking for a quiet dinner that's budget friendly.Dietary restrictions: They asked if we had any allergies or dietary restrictions before we even sat down. I was impressed with this! They had a sticker system that let the chef know.

I’ve been coming here for my birthday every year since I was maybe 8 and have always had a pleasant experience, food is always delicious and still one of my favorite food places of all time, 10x better than Benihana’s and I used to work for Benihana.

I went with my wife for the live hibachi and we enjoyed the food but when I ordered takeout the following week it was a completely different story. All of the items I ordered were made incorrectly. I paid for extra proteins in my fried rice which were completely ignored and not added. I had set up for a pick up at a specific time and I received a text a half hour early saying the food was ready. I don't know who's in charge of takeout but there needs to be more attention to detail.

Updating/downgrading my review to 1 star for the chat bot reply asking to contact them as if they care, when they don't. Nobody has replied to my emails and YOU were the one asking me to reach out, not cool. My friends and I met up for dinner here one night. When we arrived, it was packed and a lot of families. Our wait was over an hour for 3 people so we hung at the bar for a drink. The bar service was ok, but the bar itself was a mess. The bartenders were complaining for minutes on end about a rude customer, rightfully so, but also loud enough for everyone else to hear which is a no no. It is a fun environment and we got plenty of food. This place really does nickel and dime you though, anything is extra. Noodles were an extra $4.50 and fried rice $3.50. Fried rice being extra at hibachi is crazy, hibachi is partially watching them make your fried rice in front of you. Skip the sushi, the rolls were small and average tasting, nothing memorable about them. We agreed they were not worth ordering. Overall, fun place but not sure we'll be rushing back.

All you taste on the food is salt, the meat that they used is very cheap is not high quality. They should changed the sauce. The sauce is very important in Hibachi. I used to leave in Japan and worked in the restaurant and I watched the chef how to make sauce and they are special sauce.Other than that the place is fun!!!
