“Great Chinese in the heart of Scotch Plains. The ingredients were the freshest I've had in Chinese food in a very long time. The hot and sour soup wasn't as hot spicy as I prefer but had a wonderful texture as a base. I ordered the shrimp with eggplant Szechuan style. Aside from my adding some of their homemade hot mustard, the dish was superb. I'll be back to try some more dishes!“

“I visited Icy Melon in Edison for the first time a few weeks ago, and it was a pleasant surprise. The environment is quiet and low key, which makes it easy to relax but the seating could definitely use an upgrade. It’s not the coziest spot to linger, but the food more than makes up for it.

I had one of their signature crepes, and my friend tried the matcha crepe cake. Both were beautifully presented and absolutely delicious.

We didn’t wait long for our order, which was a nice bonus. You can tell they put care into both flavor and aesthetics in their food.

While the vibe is more functional than cozy, Icy Melon is perfect for a quick dessert run or a casual catch up with friends. If you’re craving something sweet and photogenic, it’s definitely worth a visit.“

“Loved this cute little place!!! My daughter and I were out and about, and wanted to get some coffee, but not from the regular “chain” coffee shop, so after a quick search, we headed to Metuchen. We were lucky enough to get parking right outside, and walked in to be pleasantly surprised by the esthetic vibe. Everything was super clean, and we were greeted right away by the super friendly employee. My daughter ordered a cappuccino and I got iced coffee. We also got a cheese and pesto savory pastry and a passion fruit and coconut tres leches dessert. Everything was delicious!!!!! Thanks for the enjoyable experience. We will definitely return.“

“Pana House Restaurant is a fantastic spot for Venezuelan food! I had the pabellón, which was delicious with tender shredded beef, black beans, rice, and fried plantains. The Venezuelan sample platter was also great, featuring tasty arepas, empanadas, and tequeños. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the staff is friendly. Definitely recommend checking it out!“

Due 360 was quite a gem of an Argentine-Italian restaurant (interesting combo but it worked!). This place is going to be my "go to" dining spot. We ordered steamed vegetable dumplings to start. Fresh ingredients and the perfect starter to a great meal. The Thai milk tea was outstanding. Not too sweet yet creamy and addictive. The staff directed me towards the lemongrass pho with vegetables and tofu. It was out of this world! The lemongrass flavor was rich and comforting. My boyfriend ordered the Bánh mì. It was sweet and savory - the perfect balance. The baguette was fresh and the meat was very seasoned and well cooked. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Andy. You can tell he’s passionate about his restaurant and customers. I said I added too much chili oil to my broth (rookie mistake - it’s very spicy!) and he was kind enough to add more broth to my leftovers to lessen the heat. He was accommodating, friendly and kind.
