Loved everything about this place. Summer atmosphere with amazing food and fantastic service. Our server was Maura and she was great! We had the salmon tartare and tuna cannoli for apps. I’m not a sushi/sashimi fan normally but both were delicious. We also had scallops and the crab-stuffed flounder which were also delicious. Cocktails were great too! If you like seafood don’t miss this place.

Just had a fantastic dinner, with a smoke alarm going off and music ending up obnoxiously blasting for longer then was comfortable and it didn’t ruin a thing, that says a lot about the over all food/service/vibes. By far the best seafood restaurant in the area. Fresh, creative, and great portions. It was one of those meals I’ll be thinking about and talking about for a while. #nailedit

Everything here is amazing. The food, the service, they really make sure they do everything to the highest quality. Coco Loco mussels are must. We also had the crab stuffed fish, fra diavolo, halibut, baked clams, and amazing cocktails. Our waiter was also incredible. You won’t be disappointed.

Chef Eddie prepared a scrumptious appetizer plate consisting of fresh Bluefin tuna tartar with a dollop of caviar atop and fried crab balls with a Delicious remoulade! For the main course we had a delicious Caribbean style sweet potato and halibut atop a bed of pineapple, rice and beans, with fried plantains, of course! He recommended and ended the meal with a rich and savory home made butter cake topped with vanilla bean ice cream. Just pure perfection...

The restaurant is cozy and small inside. They have outdoor seating for overflow or just dining outside. The food is good but there was a musty Oder at least around our table. They have a bar if you’re drinking.
Parking: They have a valet service but it’s slow and the parking lot is crowded.

A table not ready at reserved time and a wobbly one with chairs banging into each other. Appetizers brought out late at different times. Perhaps the least comfortable restaurant I have been to in years. Food was good (when it finally came) but $80 for lobster (served with cold, puckered corn on the cob with the wrong side). Felt ripped off when I left here. They have a bumper sticker that says ‘We are not the Hamptons’…they only charge like they are.
Writing this review from the parking lot. Typically huge advocates of this place, but this was easily the worst experience we have had at a restaurant of this caliber in Monmouth county to date. The food is usually unbelievably great, but today we ordered our usual tuna poke bowls- me and my wife always get our own because of how much we love it. It’s literally the main reason we come to eat here and we shared this fact with our server. Today the rice in the tuna poke was very undercooked, in that it was hard and broke into smaller hard pieces when chewed. Threw off the entire texture of the dish. Upon letting our server Andy know this his response was “I haven’t had it so I wouldn’t know”… not sure how that was relevant. Instead of apologizing and admitting that it wasn’t cooked or offering a different solution he said they could just take it off the bill unless we wanted to try something else. We came here specifically for the tuna poke. So with no other option we were stuck just getting the check and leaving. We rarely complain or even leave bad reviews, but from the moment we did we were treated like 2nd class citizens for the remainder of our meal. The attitude of the owner and its employees has gone majorly down hill. Hate to see restaurants see some success and let it get to their head, it’s customers like us who have been eating here since the restaurant opened that gave you the reputation you have today. Extremely disappointed.
Parking: They allow people to park in lot that are going to the beach. Plenty of tables, not a single available parking spot during lunch.

Fresh Seafood and Gluten-Free Friendly!
We had an amazing experience at 2nd Jetty Seafood, enjoying all the fresh catches of the day. The bluefin tuna crudo was incredibly fresh, the scallops were out of this world, and the stuffed striper was full of flavor.
As someone who is gluten-sensitive, I appreciated how careful they were in accommodating my needs. The staff knew exactly how to handle gluten-free requests, which made dining worry-free. The atmosphere was laid back, but still If you love fresh seafood and need gluten-free options, 2nd Jetty Seafood is a great spot!

I rarely write reviews, but after a 2.5 hour dinner I feel compelled to share my feedback. The food is always top notch. The service is really going downhill though. I've been to 2nd Jetty a few times this summer. The first with a group of friends and we had to beg for drinks and our orders to be taken and the server was mediocre at best. Last night, I went with a friend from the city and our kids after a beach day. Our reservation was at 7 and we were seated promptly, but that was all that was prompt. We were neglected for quite a while and eventually we begged for drinks, had to beg the server to take our order - we ordered two appetizers and dinner. Our dinner did not come until 9! We had to flag down staff and the server was completely unapologetic. 2nd Jetty. Please step it up. Disappointed
