The Drifthouse is a gem. I think people think it's a private club(it's not) and very expensive because it's a David Burke restaurant (it's actually very reasonably priced)! We had the best fried calamari - and a huge portion. And I had clams with pasta (all homemade) in a white sauce for $32! They redid the lounge with a few dining tables so that's where we sat- with a view of the wood fireplace and the ocean! We also enjoyed a half priced bottle of wine(always half price in the lounge) and a smoked old fashion! You really have to give it a try. There's a valet available if you'd prefer.

Server took over 10 minutes to greet us. Then took another 10 -15 minutes to come back and get our drink orders. After our food was served, server did not come back to ask if we needed anything further.

My wife and I had one of the best meals this year. We went on a Sunday night. The food was outstanding as was the service. We eat in the lounge which was comfortable, quiet and had a fire burning on the fireplace. Also the wine by the glass and some bottles were half price. Highly recommend this restaurant. Price-wise I thought the prices were resonable and not over priced. Highly recommended by us.

We enjoyed the Sunday special of 1 1/2 pound lobster with a half price bottle of wine. We had a great server. Lobster was steamed to perfection. But $3.50 for a popover was a shock.

Amazing service, food, and understanding of food allergies. Drifthouse is our go to place for family celebrations! Thank you for always accommodating us and making our experience special!

I very happy I checked out this hidden gem. We went on a Saturday afternoon for happy hour. I had very enjoyable relaxing experience. Had drinks and apps at bar and everything was very good. Calamari truffle fries, brussels sprouts And Cosmo Martini! 10/10 . I found a new happy hour spot. I will return. The service was great. Atmosphere was also great Please check them out.

Made this reservation spur of the moment, after waiting over 45 minutes at another establishment when we were told it would be a 15 minute wait. So, we came super hungry and to be honest if the food was bad, we would have said so. But, that wasn’t the case. Surprised by so many bad reviews, I feel compelled to write my own. Our waitress, Gianna, was great—so sweet, service was amazing. The hostess and the manager were great as well. The food was really good. We got popovers, oysters, salmon and chicken francaise. The oysters were so fresh and definitely my favorite part—reasonably priced too! The drinks were very good as well. Overall we had a great experience and would definitely come back.

I never write bad reviews, but this experience was so disappointing that it deserves to be shared. I had been to Drifthouse before under the previous ownership and always raved about it — so much so that I brought a guest here expecting an outstanding meal. What we got instead was one of the most underwhelming and overpriced dinners I’ve had in a long time.

The lobster was the breaking point. For $50, I was served something that could barely pass as a meal — small, poorly prepared, and absolutely not worth the price. To call it a “lobster dinner” is misleading at best. When you’re paying that much, you expect quality, freshness, and portion size to reflect the price. This was the complete opposite as it's frozen vegetables and a 1.5lb overcooked lobster as shown in the picture

The menu no longer reflects the restaurant I remembered. The food lacked flavor, presentation, and care. What used to be a place you could proudly recommend has turned into somewhere I would actively advise people to avoid. The change in ownership is obvious — and unfortunately, the charm and excellence this restaurant once had are gone.

I walked away embarrassed that I had talked this place up to my guest. For the prices they charge, there are dozens of other restaurants nearby that will give you a far better experience, food, and value.

Bottom line: save yourself the disappointment and money — this is not the Drifthouse it used to be.

They should remove all the pictures that are from the previous owner. Was excited to order the bacon on the close pin. Received it on a plate to find out the restaurant changed ownership it’s no longer David Burke’s restaurant the food was not good and the dessert was even worse the only thing good was the drinks at the bar!

We had an incredible dinner at drift House. Our server, Mike, was terrific. We enjoyed a sushi appetizer, the pork chop and the clams and linguine. The cocktails were also delicious. The noise level is a little bit high, but we didn't mind. We will definitely return.

We had a birthday party for my husband. Family of six attended. Ribs were outstanding; steak was delicious. Our daughter had two kinds of sushi and said it was the freshest she's ever had. The Mac and cheese with added lobster was very good. Asparagus with pine nuts were great. Our adult children loved the calamari. Fresh and plentiful. Drinks were superb - Long Island ice tea and Old Fashions. This was our first time and we will definitely come back again.

Everything about this restaurant was spot on tonight. Took my wife out for our anniversary and couldn't have asked for a better night. The view of the ocean and bay was amazing and the braised lamb I had was phenomenal. The service was great we will definitely be back to see the new specials next week!

My server was Jules and she was excellent and efficient in servicing our needs. The food was absolutely to die for and I would recommend to anyone.
