Dining in and the sides are cold. Not room temp. Cold. Corn bread is tiny, dry, and completely burned. I used to love this place in freehold. Not sure if the quality across the board dropped or just this location, but I was real disappointed. Especially when you're paying what you pay for these portions.

Let me start by saying how great their mac n cheese is, but at this location it is absolutely garbage. The texture of la rosa mac n cheese is gooey and cheesey, I go to get this one and it’s like it’s sitting in yellow water. The food would t even stay on the fork that’s how watery it was . Very location I’ve been to has had the same feel to like it was a family , I walk in and it’s just 2 people slouched over the counter.. I mean that probably should’ve been the first sign to just go somewhere else. The freehold location and manalapan location are top notch go try those out before putting la rosa as a whole to rest. Called multiple time and they never answered so I could get a refund. Freehold it is!!

For anyone who was a fan of Boston Market in its heyday, this place is for you. Simple, unpretentious, quick and delicious. Perfectly seasoned and grilled chicken, spot-on mashed sweet potatoes, and you even get cornbread with the meal! A great option for those I-just-don't-feel-like-cooking nights.

Update: Jeanine from HR was very kind and genuinely cares about the customers. Thank you for reaching out and talking to your staff.So besides the fact that I had to be refunded through DoorDash due to eyelashes being in the mashed potatoes that I ordered and very dry, greasy, super salty chicken tenders, also had a very horrible experience while picking up an order for someone. An extremely rude worker with a very nasty attitude as if she hated her job, barely acknowledged me when I first walked in; didn't even say how may I help you, did not want to give me a bigger bag instead gave me 2 small steaming hot bags of food in which I nearly burned my hands. Finally gave me the bag but while I tried to explain that the bags were just very hot and full for me to hold she began to raise her voice and argue that they don't give out big bags for just a few items however 2 customers right before me were given bags with handles for less items than I had. She talked over me and rudely yelled good bye over and over again instead of providing professional customer service to help resolve the issue. The worst experience I ever had at restaurant EVER!!!

I usually order later in the day, maybe 6-7pm when they're getting close to closing, and I order online for convenience. Despite the chicken tasting very good and always cooked well... The sides are always cold.Also I should note that yesterday I ordered mashed potatoes as I've done in the past however they were sour tasting and definitely inedible. I read the reviews for this location and say that 4 days ago someone noted that there were eyelashes in her mashed potatoes. The HR manager reached out and assured her that the staff would be spoken to. And I imagine they have been spoken to... But message not received since they are clearly selling spoiled mashed potatoes.... Something I can make at home for $2 in 20 mins...food poisoning is serious and if you're job is to prepare and serve food, you are responsible if people become sick due to spoiled or contaminated food. My order was about $30 and was refunded which I am greatful for. I wish I didn't have to lease this information in a review....

Maybe turn on the steam table? Have ordered here multiple times, this time was rough. Everything ice cold. Had to call three times before someone picked up the phone, should have been my first clue.

They had everything wrapped up and ready to close before 7:30 and refused to serve me when they close at 8:30. Why would they prepare to close over an hour before closing and turn away customers? This has happened multiple times. Would not go again.
We have done take out a handful of times the orders are always correct and made promptly. I have also never had anything that I didn't like. Also my wife said the employees are extremely patient with people that act as if they have never ordered food before. Example a guy was ordering ribs and didn't want a full rack cuz "that is to much" but didn't want a half rack because that "wasn't enough". The employee friendly suggest sir why not just get a full rack and have left overs. She said the employees had the patience of saints when they were probably expecting they were on an episode of punked.

Shame on Management I was in there a few days ago heard some rude ,who I believe was a manager screaming at one of the employees! I will NEVER set foot or order from there again and no I don't want some standard " reach out to me" reply. Human decency goes a very long way in these strange times.

Usually deal with DoorDash and the food is great from here. Decided to go in person. 3 guys working 11/2/21 night. 2 were great didn’t see their names. Other kid (curly mom dyed my hair blond) rude as hell, rolls his eyes, doesn’t say thank you to an $8 tip on 20$ tab, acts like I should be serving myself, snaps attitude when I ask if I can get an extra corn bread, scoops the food with to go ketchup cups… list can continue.Hate doing this review
