I really enjoyed my breakfast at Ray’s Café. Everything was very delicious. I was sitting outside, enjoying a beautiful weather. My server was very attentive and I really appreciate it. It’s not an upscale restaurant, but a very popular. Highly recommended.

Im sadden to say that our experience here was abysmal. The table we were given was dirty as well not prepared for the next customer. In addition, the waitress seemed very rushed & aggressive, didn’t go over the menu or make the interaction warm / inviting. Several items were not given even when requested (sugar, syrup, to-go container). The food was decent but nothing out of the ordinary to make it stand out from the overwhelming competition New Jersey offers. The outdoor dining was bland & boring. The interior was incredible I will admit however with the poor service & experience - it’s washed over. My advice to the management is perhaps coach the house staff to be more approachable & take every client like it’s their first visit (unless they admit they are regulars).
