My husband had the salmon special and it was wonderful. I had the Roast Beef dip from the menu and it wasn't! The au jus was some strange "herby concoction"...the roast beef was VERY fatty and tough. Old Rods had FLAWLESS roast beef in their dip sandwich...lean/rare/piled high. This wasn't. I love that hubby had a nice meal but they need to step up the quality of the roast beef (serving it cold vs. hot shows that, hiding blah meat by heating it doesn't make it better) au jus should be made from cooked down beef juice...not some strange broth and herbs. Your bartenders are wonderful though!

Where do I begin….my friends and I obsessed with Rods is borderline unhealthy. We went exactly one time at the end of Summer and we bring it up in our group text chat at least once a day whenever someone experiences a minor inconvenience, “Should we get Rods?” Amazing menu, food lives up to the hype, absolutely some of the best service I’ve ever had I wish I could remember our waitresses name who made sure we got the last 7 loaves of rosemary focaccia to no judgement at all of that request. Heavenly dessert and drinks as well. If I lived down the shore all year, I would be at Rods at least once a week. Also notably looks recently renovated? All of the paint, furniture, etc was immaculate like it was built the day before we got there. Also no wait at all for a group of 6 on a Thursday night, very spacious and accommodating. Rods, I love you!

We were incredulous as we witnessed an ‘Aubrey’ or ‘Audrey’ treat a sweet shy girl with passive aggressive disdain and contempt :-/ Our family has had ownership on this tiny strip of shoppes for over fifty years!

We ordered the filet mignon and cheese and the fish and chips. The cheese was not thoroughly melted and fries were cold. The fish and onion rings were cold ss well. Service was adequate, but nothing special. No excuse for cold food! Definitely a disappointment.

We had a great lunch,I was surprised by surcharges,tax on alcohol ECT,I know it's not the restaurant it self,but didn't expect it.
Party of 12. Very pleasant quick service. Food was good, not outstanding. Lovely dinner on the back deck.
Parking: Small parking lot in rear. Otherwise, use on the street parking. Gets crowded quickly.

Loved the way the place looked and it’s a great vibe. Drinks were very good, we sat inside because it was a little hot out but the outdoor seating looks incredible too I could probably sit there all day and slam like 20 bud heavy’s. Also everyone who worked there was attractive something in the water I guess. Highly recommend tho

Our waitress was lovely BUT she was handling way too many tables both inside and outside! She was running back and forth like a crazy woman. The only help she got was when the main meal was served. No one helped her to clear the table after the appetizers or the meal. When we commented on our way out of the restaurant to the woman at the front, she just stared at us. No response. ?
