The. Custard was very good. I felt like I was bothering the workers. The girl was sleeping on the counter and the boy that took my order has no personality.

cute, right in the middle of town...but we have come once a summer for 3 years in a row, with kids and grandkids in tow... thinking each time, maybe it's just a bad day/evening... gonna give up now, even tho we summer here every year.It is always soup. You can't get a cone with out a complete mess, even when it's not hot out. Last week two in our group ordered salted caramel... It tasted like vanilla with chocolate chip, so I thought they'd made a mistake. I was told that "salted caramel" was vanilla with ground up heath bar. Well I actually love heath bars, but that is not salted caramel. Where is the grownup that runs this place?

Unique style / texture of ice cream. Fast service and nice atmosphere to sit.

This is probably the worst ice cream place at the Shore. Every single time we order, the ice cream is melted. It's like ice cream soup. I heard people complain. They must have a problem with their freezer. Tonight the kids running the place messed up everybody's orders. The ice cream soup doesn't even taste good. Way too sweet. What a disappointment!

I used to LOVE this place; last two visits the custard was very soft and almost souplike. I commented about it and the answer I got was that "because they make it all fresh that's how it comes out" & "I'm sorry".The custard is not cheap and I don't mind paying for a good local place but it's really going downhill I'm very sad to say. Ive loved this place since it first opened, and I'm sad to say goodbye

This place has really gone downhill. The custard used to be thick and absolutely decadent but they're clearly doing something differently. It's soft and practically runny now. (It was only 65 degrees out so NOT a melting issue). My $8 milkshake was basically cold flavored milk, incredibly thin and didn't even come close to filling the cup. The $12 'quart' I brought to my parents was filled to about an inch and a half from the top. For what they're charging it's frankly pathetic that they don't even give you what you paid for. We won't be back.

We stopped in last night and ordered two custards, one strawberry and one salted caramel. The serving sizes were good and the prices were a bit high (but expected in this area). The custard was creamy, but very soft. They had to put our cones upside down into cups because it would have been impossible to eat otherwise. At the end I was spooning the liquid custard from my cup. Not sure why it was so soft.....it wasn't even a hot day. But the most disappointing part was the flavor (or the lack thereof). The salted caramel was like eating plain vanilla. Maybe there was a SLIGHT hint of caramel, but that's being generous. And I tasted no salt whatsoever. The strawberry has a bit more flavor, but not much. The best part of my "cone" was the sprinkles!! Very generous amount and they had much more flavor than the custard. Overall, a disappointing experience.

Looked like a good place. Sadly staff didn't know if the custard was gluten free. ?
