The Parker House has not updated their Google Map hours. Not sure if they are only open seasonally, but we were unpleasantly surprised when we pulled up on a Friday night in December and it is completely shuttered. There was even a sign out front that said they had had a holiday market earlier that day. The hours need to be kept up to date for when travelers like my family come through town and are thrown off by the website claiming to be open but the actual location being shut down.

Love this place, wish it wasn’t always so crowded, but I suppose that’s a good problem for them to

We’ve been going to Parker House for dinner a few times every summer for years and always had a great meal. Last night the food was subpar. Frozen calamari. What was supposed to be scallops stuffed with crab meat was scallops drenched in butter with some dry crab stuffing on top. The stuffed fluke was like bad diner food. Looks like their bar scene has become more important than their restaurant. What a shame. Big disappointment!

Speaking for the restaurant only, great seafood and service - especially the mussels. Reef was our server and was super attentive and personable. A must stop if you’re down the Jersey shore!

Nice Historic place, but, no parking at all, we had to park four blocks away, they have a huge beautiful building with NO in door dining (for lunch at least) and only one, 10 or so stool bar open to sit at, and it was outside with no food service at said bar, plenty of staff to accommodate having another bar open, the servers and the bartenders were awesome, fast and friendly, the hostesses on the other hand, not so friendly, my wife and I were seated on the front porch (the only dinig option) which was nice, but when my wife asked the hostess if we could sit at a table by the railing which was a table for four she told us no because she was sitting a party of four there, only to find out seconds later that she sat a party of two at that table, so she lied, I would never discourage anyone from trying this beautiful Historic restaurant, but we will never go back. Enjoy.

Really good spot here! The salad was a good size portion and the drinks were great. They don’t take reservations so plan accordingly. I preferred this location over the upscale restaurants in Spring Lake.

I wish the food was better, but it's not really worth eating. The 7 people with me all agreed.

Tables are outside on a second floor porch, very nice. I had a chicken salad BLT wrap which was a bit salty coming from a guy that loves salt.

I bought a tee shirt and realized it was the wrong size. Came right back and tag still on . It could not be exchanged for the correct size. This is ridiculous and now I will never go there again. I love local and would frequent this business but not after this poor customer server!!!

Decent beach vibes, food is good, not great. Good service. Great venue size and views.
