Carmen's Seafood Restaurant

We come here every year for breakfast and this year is the first time we were disappointed. They no longer sell scrapple with breakfast as they've replaced it with some kind of meatless replacement. Very disappointed group of 14 people today. Food quality this year is just lacking compared to years past. Food came out cold. It took 15 minutes from the time the first food came out until the rest of the food was brought out. People finished a part of their meal before the meats/breads even came out.

This place was a great find! We have spent the last 3 summers trying new places and this was a gem. Valet parking. The food was fantastic. Best coconut cream pie I think I've ever had. Will absolutely be back.

The worst valet service nasty and mean pulled my mercedes out and hit curb and did not even apologize terrible food as well and service.

Sea food was ok . What ever you do don't order the chicken Fingers!
They were so well done I couldn't even chew them!
Definitely will never come back!!

Nice eating area on the water, everything feels overpriced though. I've had great brunches here, but the dinners I've had have been underwhelming.

The food is always delicious, but I was very disappointed to see that someone was allowed to bring their dog into the restaurant. This is a restaurant where food is eaten and served. I don’t know if those people have the required shots for that dog. Do better people!!!

Always a great time

My husband and I visited Carmen’s Seafood Restaurant and had a wonderful experience. We ordered the seafood boil which was perfect. Our waitress was very personable and was quite successful in providing us with our food, promptly. The seafood was cooked to our perfection and delicious. Carmen’s Seafood Restaurant rates 100%.

Great views and a great location. The seafood was fresh but we had pasta and it was floating in a load of flavorless, watery sauce. It was also very expensive, we had 3 dinners and we had a $200 bill with tip. I probably wouldn't come back, just not my favorite.

Is this place ever open for breakfast. I see a giant sign on the outside of the building when coming on to the Island that says breakfast and yet its never open for breakfast

This is our favorite breakfast spot in Sea Isle all summer long. Our first visit of the year was this past weekend and Tommy was fantastic as always. There is no better place to enjoy a meal than on the water at Carmen's!

First time here and we will never be back. It was horrible. We ordered the crab chowder which was just broth and crab no vegetables, we also ordered a wedge salad to split and we asked 2 x to come out with our soup not the entree. We order the fisherman’s fried seafood combo. So we waited and waited and finally the salad and entree came out together so I told her we didn’t want the salad it was supposed to be served before the entree. Started to eat and the inside of my seafood was cold! I saw our waitress and went over and told her and she said oh really and walked away. Never came over and took the food back. I had to go over to the counter to the lady in the pink sweater and tell her she came over and said she would get us a new one. In the mean time our waitress NEVER came back to the table.. no soda refills no acknowledgment at all. Also the people behind us were ordering the seafood combo also and were asked what sides they wanted we were never offered sides with our entree. The lady in the pink sweater got our new food which she said was new but it clearly was reheated good put under the broiler!! The piece of flounder was so dried out we couldn’t eat it. The one broiled clam in the shell was the same way but the crab cakes weren’t that hot at all. I asked about the sides and she said we did get sides but didn’t seemed concerned that her waitress hadn’t asked us about them. Our waitress never appeared at our table again we had to go up to the front for our check which was $76 for uneaten food. I will never go back there again. Just terrible and seemed like they didn’t care about how they treated us.

Went there for breakfast. Service was excellent, server was on the spot with coffee and getting our order. Place was clean and most importantly, food was excellent.
