I made a reservation for an 8:00 dinner on Valentine's Day. When I walked in with my date smoke bellowed out of the restaurant. Even worse, the staff was clueless when I told them I had a reservation. Not honoring the reservation all they did was gave me a shoulder shrug and said maybe we could be seated by 9:00. Between the smoke and the look of the food, them not honoring our reservation ironically turned out to be good thing!
I have eaten here in the summer and had a wonderful experience, but off season was a different experience. The lights went out multiple times during our dinner, service was slow/non-existent, and the entire restaurant was filled with smoke once the chef started cooking. Luckily the food was good!
Air was not working and room was very stuffy- night was to brisk to eat outside. Vegetables were tasteless and water logged. Tuna portion was very small and lacked flavor. Wait staff was very good.
Food was delicious, service was great. We were initially set up to eat at a table that had a lot of sun through the window. Since it was an early reservation, they were easily able to move our spot. It was a little warm in there, and it is smaller than I had imagined from photos, but great food. Bathroom was clean as well.
Very intimate dining room , always with excellent food. Our waitress, who usually does breakfast, was excellent, attentive and did a great job taking care of four of us. Highly recommend the Ginger Ahi and the Teriyaki Ahi! Both cooked to perfection and very tasty.
Love the creative items on the menu-far from typical! A BYOB which is great too. Saturday night at the Shore in August gets very busy. Parking difficult, staff very busy and attentive. Have been before and will be back next Shore trip! ?
The food was very good, but from the time we ordered, it was over an hour before we got our food. Also, our server didn't have answers to most of our questions. I would recommend it for the food if you have a long time to wait.
Love this local BYOB! The ingredients and menu selections are always fresh and seasonal. The specials are creative and delicious. They know how to make fish! The servers make you feel at home and the atmosphere is casual and comfortable. They have indoor and outdoor seating. We went on early side and it was quiet. Have been there before at a later hour and the noise level was moderate and the restaurant was quite busy. Definitely recommend!
Came here for breakfast - it’s a small place. We had pancakes and eggs between the 4 of us. She kept the coffee cups filled and the food was fine. No complaints, nothing to rave about about. It’s good.
With lots of gluten free options and being a BYOB I wanted to love this place...but, sadly, we won’t be back. We dined on a slow Sunday evening so expected no problems but...for the second year in a row, the main meal fell short of our expectations. Loved the Mako Bites and the Caprese Appetizer. They were well seasoned, flavorful, and tasty. Yummy apps! Off to a good start. Dinners were another story. The portions were small for the price and lacking in flavor. The salmon was very good but the sweet potato mash was soggy, over cooked and tasteless. The yellow and green squash medley was awful. No spices and the lack of uniform slicing led to a few overcooked pieces mixed in with undercooked pieces. Try adding onions or tomatoes to the mix for a pop of flavor or some oregano and basil for flavor. Server was personable but never checked back to inquire about the food until it was time to clear the plates. There are better places at the shore to spend your hard earned cash.

Salad was fresh. I had salmon topped with crab, over asparagus. The salmon & crab were fresh and tasted great! There were only 2 very skinny pieces of asparagus, though. Overall excellent food at a good price. Being a byob is a big plus!
The food was average. Some people said their food was “good”. Other said “just okay”. The giant burrito was not giant. The wait was ridiculous. When the food for our party of 10 came out, it came out 1-2 people at a time with many minutes in between. My sandwich had a toasted bun but the bread was cold. The cheese was melted but it was not hot. Leads me to believe food sat for a while. Wouldn’t come back.
Nice atmosphere. Great food and fish options. My family enjoyed our dinner experience. Definitely recommend.

The most attentive and friendliest staff in town! Make sure to ask for Rachel and Frannie; they took us in even though it was close to closing time and made us feel at home. We were a large party and they made very effort to accommodate us and make our experience there a wonderful dinner! My husband had the crab bisque, which was delicious! So much so that my youngest son ordered one for himself. We had the Mako bites with cucumber sauce, as well as the tuna tartar cucumber appetizers; they were so good. From the Mako provenzal to the arrabiata pasta, all our dishes were amazing! And to finish an already incredible dinner they gave us the most delicious cheesecake and key lime pie, both melted in our mouths, on the house! You won’t find this kind of professional, caring staff that provided us with excellent service anywhere else. Food was really delicious. Highly recommend this restaurant!
