Food was incredible, server was very kind and attentive to my gluten allergy. Gluten free soy sauce was available too!
Dietary restrictions: I have celiac disease and the waiter informed me of what did and did not have gluten and prepared things accordingly for me!

Great experience! Delicious food and very patient workers. I’ve asked a thousand questions and no one was annoyed by me or anything.
We got a Manhattan roll, Godzilla and shrimp shumai. All 3 of them came out great.
Best experience I’ve ever had with a sushi restaurant on the shore.
Thank you guys wishing you all the best!

I tried Oceancrat next door the other door (which was AMAZING) and saw this Japanese restaurant and decided to come back to try today. My kid had the Hibachi Steak which he loved and came with so much (fried rice, veg, soup). Me and husband shared a couple of rolls and a poke bowl. Their poke bowl is DELICIOUS and so worth it, lots of fish and good sauce. I loved the Megu Roll and Soft Shell Crab Roll. Their fish is fresh and portions are plenty. Saw a lot of tables around me get Chicken Fried Rice so that seems to be a popular one. A must try and worth any drive if you want quality Japanese food and sushi!

It says it’s open online (11:30am) but I drove here for a grubhub order and they are closed how super inconvenient
The sushi is okay, nothing special. Spicy salmon was decent, but the Cali roll was very bland. It's pretty much the only sushi place in Sea Isle so you take what you can get. Service was weird, we stood at the door for a while before anyone came. Use the ATM otherwise you're charged a service fee, which to me is tacky at this point. Be careful to check that if you bought one of the lunch specials, you're getting charged for the special price and not per individual roll.
It was really nice! The sushi was amazing, I loved it. The waitress was really nice and she answering all our questions about the food. Will definitely be going back!
Amazing food. Big portions. Pricey but so is everything in sea isle. Definitely will eat here again
They served me soup so hot that it gave me second degree burns. Lid was particularly open so it spilled on my hip.

This place is really good! Some of the best we have had. The 007 Roll is awesome, we definitely will be regulars. I ordered online and put in the time I’d be over to pick it up and it was ready and waiting when I got there.Highly recommend!!!
great food - amazing fried rice. BYOB
EXTREMELY overpriced. Waited over an hour for our food …half of our table received food 30 minutes before the other half. When it finally did come each roll was stuffed with the cheapest ingredients. Skimpy on the fish in both the rolls and the poke bowls. Service was mediocre at best.
Water didn’t taste right, went next door to buy a bottle of water to have with dinner. Obviously, they are understaffed, the waitress waited on the whole dining room, answered phones/takeout, and ran food. I wasn’t mad that I had to wait because I could tell she was busy. When we finally put our order in we received our spring roll appetizer which was frozen in the center still. She took it away and off the bill since we didn’t eat it. Our sushi was delicious! We ordered the vegan poke bowl which wasn’t good for many reasons and also had a hair in it. The hyped up pad thai didn’t taste right either and also had a hair in it. I paid at the counter because she was too busy to come back and see how we were doing. It was expensive, but I didn’t argue or mention the hair in the food. Tipped 20% for the hustle. Definitely will not be back.
Poor service or rather no service. I placed a lunch order early in the day for delivery which was confirmed. At the time I was supposed to receive delivery I received an update that my order would be delayed by 20 minutes. That was fine. I had placed my order to arrive in time for a working lunch meeting and even with the delay the timing would still work. An hour later , I received another update advising me that Megu Sushi was cancelling my order. At this point I’m already in my meeting with no lunch. Had I known sooner I could have ordered something from somewhere else. I contacted Grubhub to complain and they apologized plus graciously gave me a credit for my next order but advised me not to order from Megu Sushi again. Based on my experience I most certainly won’t.
