Ocean Drive Bar & Restaurant

This place has some of the rudest staff you’ll ever encounter. I think management goes out of their way to hire mean people. The bar is overcrowded, too loud, overpriced, and dirty. When this place gets packed, it’s certainly a fire hazard since it gets to the point where you physically cannot move. There’s no way that they are in line with safety regulations. The staff just lets in too many people because they are irresponsible. One of the most miserable bar/clubs I’ve ever been to.

Dude if you go on a weekend night expect it to be mobbed and to pay a big cover. If you’re under 25, this is the nightlife for you. If you are late 20s or god forbid-in your 30s-head straight to the back bar outside and avoid all the crowded nonsense. Bathrooms are just OK—not maintained throughout the night so beware. Other than that a good time.

Ocean Drive has quick service and a fun, lively atmosphere. However, its bite didn't quite measure up to its bark. My fish tacos were tasty, but they only gave me 2 tacos for $15. Our water also tasted a bit like saltwater, which threw us off. If only the prices were a bit lower or the portions bigger, it would have been a good place. Maybe worth a shot next year.

Bouncers were super unfriendly and disrespectful. We were a group of 11 ~35-40 year old women and they acted entitled. Maybe we are not the right age for this bar but we will not be back. Bartenders were kind, patient and attentive. If you only want to attract one type of crowd on a Wednesday night by the bouncers alone, you have achieved it. Live Music was ok and they played music to keep the crowd engaged.

Update: went back 2 days later and dumpster smell was gone! I recommend this place for prompt service and consistency with good food always.
Great for a late lunch, after beach and before the drive back to Pennsylvania. The service is always prompt, great crab cake sandwich, chicken sandwiches and fries. The restaurant is clean, maintained well and a nice breeze. One note, while there, this time, we were seated to the back right and every so often could get waft of trash dumpers behind the fenced enclosure. This was the first time we noticed this. we go here several times a year, and have been going here, for many years.

Cant believe the main singer of the band tonight really tried to call out a girl in the crowd who was just trying to get the band to say happy birthday to a friend. Extremely unprofessional and unnecessary to get the crowd to turn against one girl. One of the rudest things I’ve ever seen. Maybe this establishment should reconsider having this band here.

Was seated right away at 5:00 on Sunday. We had 2 kids with us and the staff was friendly and welcoming. Our food came very fast and our server was very kind and attentive.

We love going here whether it be for lunch, dinner or just a few drinks. We airways make sure to take our whole family, including the grandkids, when we come down for vacation! They especially like to go if the baseball game is and and there is live music! The staff is very friendly and the wait is never too long! (Even for a party of 10-12)

If you want a 4 oz 20$ well drink this is the place to go. And one wrong move and the 40+ bouncers will not hesitate to drag you across the floor out of the bar before they even tell you that you have to leave.
