I'm going to give this four stars because the bar is always lots of fun and the staff is wonderful. The food is just ok, but not bad. All and all, it's always a good time and they really try to accommodate everyone. Definitely a favorite local go-to spot!

We had dinner there for the first time last night with a group of 8. The space looks great and is a wonderful addition to the Sea Isle dining scene. I had the swordfish and it was delicious. Our server was friendly and attentive. My only suggestion would be to turn down the music a bit. It was so loud that we had trouble talking to the others in our group.

Food was good but not exceptional. The prices were way too expensive for the food that was served. $4 per oyster is exorbitant. Our server was pleasant and efficient. There was not much ambiance. The bar area is very nice but I would not recommend dining there.

My family has visited Beachwood many times over the years, never had a bad experience that has stuck out. Last night was exceptional and stood out. My wife made reservations online a few hours before very easily. When we got to the host desk we were greeted politely and promptly than taken to our table. Our server Bella and the rest of the staff that took care of us were fantastic and very friendly. The food was amazing, extremely pleased with our experience. -Mike R. You

We have not been to the Beachwood this year and decided to give them another chance. Our previous experiences have not been great but decided to give them another try and they disappointed again. We went for Live Music and a drink special and bartenders knew nothing about any drink special. Very disappointing again as this place is nice inside and could be a nice spot to have a casual drink.

They posted on their website that they were having live music from 8-11 on July 8, 2023 in their lounge. They advertised drink specials and $5 drafts. We arrived at 8:30 PM. We went directly to the lounge. We asked what the drink specials were. The bartender said there were no drink specials but that they added signature drinks for $14 per drink. We asked about what the draft specials were. She said the draft system at the lounge was broken so there were no draft specials. We showed the bartender the post on their website and the bartender said, yeah no there aren't specials. She also didn't offer to go to the main bar and get the draft beer to honor the $5 drafts. So we went to the main bar, again asked about the drink specials to the bartender and again, showed the post on the website, and she didn't know anything about it. This is also NOT the first time they advertised something and when we got there and asked about it, we're looked at like we were from Mars. We wanted this place to be our regular stop at the south end but it has failed at every opportunity. Very disappointing. Price gougers!

We really enjoyed our stay. Amenities were great - towels, sheets, soap, shampoo, dish soap, etc. all provided. Condo was updated, clean, spacious, and quiet! Will definitely return!
I've been here several times. The chicken sandwich is to die for. Bacon on point. Manager is a good guy. Waitresses have always been kind and willing to do their best. Overall, I'd give it a shot. Menu is quality stuff.

HORRIBLE! We were so excited to try this restaurant. Great looking space, and menu looked decent. Made reservations well in advance. They put our family at a hightop in the noisy bar, not in the main dining room. We let that go. Waitress not friendly. 45 minutes later, we finally get our appetizers- bread (hawaiian rolls) with butter (can't screw that up) and a bland, tasteless flatbread. An hour and 15 minutes in, still no food. Waitress never once came back except to fill water once, so I had to hunt her down to find out what was going on. Food finally came out an hour and 25 minutes after we sat down (restaurant wasn't even at half capacity). Chicken sandwiches were AWFUL- dry as a bone- inedible. My pork chop was also BONE DRY. Could only eat the outside. Every dish comes with the exact same sides- mashed potatoes and asparagus. My kids were so over it at that point, we just asked for the check so we could get the heck out of there. And it was not cheap!! Do not waste your money here. So many other good choices. Many, many reviews identical to this, so pretty consistent slow service and just plain bad food. We love to support local businesses, but this place needs to get their act together before we would ever consider returning.

Erica our server was fabulous! Good stars for her. Average food. Berry mojito was good, but fairly expensive. Bread and butter appetizer were basically just Hawaiian rolls with regular butter. Chicken sandwich okay, not much hot sauce or aioli at all. If in a pinch on a Saturday night where every restaurant has a wait, you will be sat here and decent option. But if you have the chance, make a reservation elsewhere.

Two stars for the wonderful bartenders who spent most of their night running damage control and were still very pleasant refilling drinks. Happy to tip them well. An hour waiting on a grilled shrimp appy. Ended up canceling our meal and getting out of there. Woman next to us was a served a basically raw burger and sent it back- came back 30 mins later. Man on the other side of the bar waiting 30+ mins for a shrimp cocktail. Poorly run kitchen. Beautiful space- it's a shame.

Worst meal I've had in years. Sent main dish back... was it even fish and was it cooked? All questions I have! Waited forever for food. Best part was honey bee drink! Down hill after that. Do yourself a favor and don't order the lobster tacos or calamari... both just deep fried grossness.
